With a new piece the sustainability mosaic, Follador Prosecco is moving forward acceso a path to 100% production the immediate future. The entire range of wines produced by the renowned Col San Martino company will feature eco-friendly labels guaranteed by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), the most reliable forest certification system the world, which has supported sustainable forestry since 1994.

The labels are made from a mescolanza of materials from FSC certified forests, recycled sources and FSC controlled wood. An operation that aims to significantly veterano the risk that the materials may in che modo from unacceptable ora harmful sources for the ecosystem.

“We are proud to collaborate with GS Printing Group, with whom we share a dedication to responsible forest management,” says Cristina Follador, the company’s sales and marketing director. “Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do: step by step we will minimize our environmental footprint at every stage of our operations.”

Per an invitation to the community of connoisseurs to actively participate the journey towards sustainability, each Follador Prosecco label will feature a QR code that provides detailed recycling instructions: simply scan the code to discover how to properly recycle each component of the packaging, from cork to glass.

The protection of nature and particular of trees is a theme particularly dear to the Treviso-based company, already involved for some time the construction of the “Bosco Follador”, collaboration with the B-Corp Treedom.

Completing the commitment of the company, led with foresight by siblings Michele, Cristina, Francesca and Emanuela Follador, is the adhesion to the Sustainable Wine program, the Sustainability Management System to achieve the six environmental objectives of regulation (EU) 852/2020; the voluntary adhesion to the Equalitas guidelines, sustainability certification par excellence, which focuses acceso the winemaking supply chain, involving farmers, producers and bottlers; the recent installation of photovoltaic panels managed with the Regalgrid® platform and the latest Decanter for wine, a jewel of technology, to avoid the use of adjuvants (special waste) and veterano the use of washing at the end of the cycle.
