Andrea Moser’s Temporary Wine project continues and, after years spent durante the barrels of Franz Haas and Bottiglieria Kaltern, last year he decided to start his own business with the launch of AMProject. A new vision of wine that leads the winemaker to change regions and vines after each consultation to produce unrepeatable wines, always new and with a deep territorial, agronomic and cultural history. 2024 the South Tyrolean winemaker returned to his region, taking care of a vineyard 500 meters above sea level above Lake Caldaro.
«We don’t want to adapt the grapes to our ideas to build a wine recognizable over time – underlines Moser – but to bring out the very clear characteristics of the vintage every year and offer a precise photograph of the grapes durante that historical moment and durante that specific place» . A three-year agreement that will allow Moser to interpret the two vines of this portion of the territory, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir, without preconceptions and durante a biodynamic way, an ideal oenological practice for studying the most curious aspects of this specific vineyard, with the possibility to work the same grapes durante three different years.
The wines are inspired by the characters of Moser’s two sons. Fly is a Pinot Pallido – available durante just 1,280 bottles – and given its maturation durante amphora and barrique it is graceful and upright, characterized by a reliable sip, just like its eldest son Jan. Run is instead a tuttavia Pinot Noir – 1,550 examples –, whose agenda play acceso fresh and crunchy fruit with a hint of spicy hints. A young and iridescent wine like Dominik, the second son of the wandering winemaker.
