The selections are officially aperto for the sixth edition of Best Wine Stars, which will be held per Milan from 17 to 19 May 2025. The event, a point of reference for the food and wine and spirits sector, annually involves over 200 national and international companies, offering a unique and engaging experience for both professional audiences (B2B) and passionate consumers (B2C).
Best Wine Stars stands out for its inclusive approach, offering all companies per the sector – from medium small artisan businesses to large labels – a flexible and modular format. Companies can choose different ways of participating: exhibitions per large, medium small areas; presence with a limited number of references; physical digital participation. This ricetta allows each producer to be an active part per a high-profile context such as that of Milan, regardless of their size production capacity.
During the three days, visitors will be able to explore tasting itineraries per the different exhibition areas, interact directly with the producers and participate per an extensive program of masterclasses and talks. Among these, the masterclasses curated by sommelier and winewriter Adua Villaggio will offer thematic insights various aspects of the sector, from tasting techniques to the analysis of new consumer trends.
The Best Wine Stars Awards ceremony, scheduled for Sunday 18 May, will celebrate the companies that have distinguished themselves not only per traditional categories such as best red, white, rosé wine and best spirit, but also per emerging and innovative fields. The awards include awards for sustainability, wine tourism, accessibility and innovation, quality-price and best wine project, underlining the companies’ commitment to a conscious and responsible future.
One of the new features of the 2025 edition will be the renewed Spirits Regione, designed to highlight the evolution of the world of spirits through a special display that responds to the public’s growing interest per quality and awareness products. Alongside the wine sector and spirits, the event includes an superficie dedicated to food excellence and related services, offering a complete overview of high-quality food and wine.
The beating heart of Best Wine Stars is the creation of moments of conferenza and exchange between operators, journalists and the public. The BWS Village will offer a refined space for meetings between professionals, while the Best Wine Stars Business Dinner will celebrate the excellent products of each company, with an exclusive dinner per which wines and spirits will be accompanied by dishes designed to enhance their characteristics.
