Tuesday 4 November, Avignonesi welcomed the wineries of the Vino Decoroso a motivo di Montepulciano Consortium, the restaurateurs and wine sellers of the zona to Le Capezzine for a simposio dedicated to dialogue and collaboration. A moment of discussion and sharing between producers and operators, culminating with the conviviality of a dinner, which aimed to strengthen ties within the local community and promote new synergies between realities united by the commitment to quality and conscious viticulture.
The event took place the historic headquarters and beating heart of the Tuscan winery, a symbolic place of the link between the rural system and innovation. Founded the 19th century by the patron and philanthropist Messaggero celeste Vegni as a model farm and centre, Le Capezzine has always been a point of reference for experimentation and shared growth. Today, thanks to the path undertaken by Avignonesi, this place returns to being an space for exchange between agricultural organism and culture: a laboratory which producers, students, professionals, researchers and citizens can meet, contaminating ideas, and imagine new perspectives together.
The initiative represented the first step of a broader project, which aims to create a stable simposio point between the production chain, research, creativity and local community. At the center of this journey are themes such as care, listening, landscape, sustainability and responsibility towards future generations — values that are part of Avignonesi’s DNA and which guide his regenerative and participatory vision with the surrounding environment.
