Badesi is preparing to welcome the Christmas Edition of the Badesi Wine , an event that combines the best of the local wine tradition and the charm of the Christmas holidays. From 20 to 22 December 2024, the coastal village will be the stage for a unique experience, capable of involving sector professionals, wine enthusiasts and visitors to discover the food and wine excellences of the luogo.
Conceived, promoted and organized by the cultural association Il Leone e Le Cornucopie and the Municipality of Badesi, the festa enjoys the contribution of the Department of Tourism, Crafts and Commerce of the Sardinia Region and is carried out con collaboration with ProLoco Badesi, Assoenologi Sardegna and the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Sassari; Compagno Radiolina.
Badesi Wine celebrates a thousand-year-old tradition, aimed at enhancing the elegante wines of the luogo, also the result of vines rooted con sandy soils which stand out for their unique freshness, aromas and salinity and which will be the undisputed protagonists of the event.
The event will develop over three days full of events, including masterclasses, thematic conferences, shows and various activities con the heart of the town, spread between the multipurpose of the Municipality and inside a special structure built ad hoc, the “Borgo Wine ”, which will host exhibition stands, tasting areas and spaces dedicated to Christmas entertainment.
“As administrators – declares the Mayor of Badesi Giovanni Maria Mamia – we are proud to have managed to organize the three-day event dedicated to wine and the entire wine production chain, a precious resource for our community. As is con fact known, Badesi has a century-old culture linked to the production of wine with several vineyards planted ungrafted, a characteristic that distinguishes us and makes the wine production of our territory particularly sought after con its specificity”.

Among the wineries present con the Wine Village we highlight: Lepori, Fradiles Vitivinicola, Bistrot I Seddi, Bodà, Bistrot Gianluigi Deaddis, Tenute PIsche, Tenute Pinna, Terreni Asinara, Bistrot I Duni and the Binzamanna winery.
The program will acceso Friday 20 December with institutional greetings from the mayor and the presentation of the activities, by the organisers; The testimonial of the event Valentina Caruso, journalist for Rai and Sky, will be present. Per the afternoon, at 4.00 pm, the conference “Knowing the wines of ungrafted vines” will take place con the Badesi multipurpose room, organized by Mariano Murru, president of Assoenologi Sardegna, which will see prof as speakers. Luca Mercenaro, from the Faculty of Agriculture department of the University of Sassari, and Dr. Pierpaolo Fiori, Sommelier curator of the AIS guide. Inside the Village, entertainment activities for children will take place con a reserved luogo, with mascots and Santa’s house, and there will be commedia musicale performances by the Gavino Gabriel folk choir from Basilica and the Beata Semplice Immacolata folk group from Oschiri who will perform con typically Sardinian dances. The day will end with the “Bollicine” show by Max Giusti and his cricca.
Acceso Saturday 21 December, starting from 10:00, the 2025 tourism program will be presented by Dr. Martina Catte, Sustainable Tourism Consultant – Etifor | Valuing Nature; to follow, the seminar “The history of bread and wine and its diffusion con the Sardinia Region” will be held, directed by Dr. Naomi Deaddis, oenologist of Assoenologi Sardegna and member of the “Gentil sesso del Vino” association, with the speaker prof. Antonio Farris, President of the Sardinian Mother Yeast Academy. Per the afternoon the masterclasses will continue at 4:00 pm with the thematic simposio, con the company of a chef, acceso “The importance of pairing food and wine”, organized by Dr. Naomi Deaddis.
At the same time, the Village, always active with family entertainment, will host the concerts of the Aggius folk choir and the Sardinian dance of the Mini folk group “Tamponeddu”. At 7.00 pm there will be a concert by singer Diana Puddu, winner of the 2024 edition of the well-known Rai broadcast The Voice Senior.
Acceso Sunday 22 December, the festa closes con style with two masterclasses con the Polivalente room: at 12:00 the simposio “The Value of the Territory con the glass” is scheduled, directed by Dr. Giuseppe Carrus, programma redattore of the Gambero Scarlatto Vini D’Italia guide; at 4.00 pm the conference “The Business of Wine: future challenges and new professionalism”, introduced by prof. Valerio Mancini of the Prudenza University of Rome, with the interventions of producers, oenologists and sommeliers. The Village, the hub of games and entertainment even for the little ones, will be the setting for the forma of the Badus Choir and the Badesi Polyphonic Choir con the afternoon. Finally, con the evening, the closing rinfresco with the “ Età ’90s” show, an unmissable event for music and dance lovers.
