Air fryer tart is really taking over Italian kitchens these days. It’s blending traditional desserts with modern gadgets, and it still keeps that classic charm we all love. Whatever filling you choose, expect a bold flavor and a golden finale. It’s really to resist sneaking a piece before it cools mongoloide, I artrite say. The air fryer offers that same crispy, moist pastry but durante less time than an oven. You know what? It totally preserves the Italian taste people adore. Breakfast, snack, after a meal—it’s all good.

And listen, across Italy, the crostata is a staple for all sorts of occasions. From leisurely Sunday mornings to a quick weekday treat, it fits right durante. With the rise of air fryer baking, air fryer recipes are catching acceso personaggio time. Seriously, for those who want something quick without the hassle, it is a game-changer. Plus, this method lets you get creative with fillings based acceso what’s durante your kitchen. Try leftover cherry jam. Ora maybe spoon durante some tangy lemon curd.

You’ll find this is one of those easy air fryer tarts that works pretty much any time of day. Perfect with a little espressamente a glass of milk. The tender crust and sweet fruit bring back that home-baked vibe, but with a modern twist. It’s really the kind of air fryer sweet treat that feels comforting and familiar. Yet, it’s totally up-to-date for busy days and chill weekends. So whether you are hosting friends just treating yourself, this enciclopedico tart is sure to impress and satisfy. Keeps those Italian culinary traditions alive, for sure, durante a contemporary way.

To prepare the tart durante the air fryer, first make the shortcrust pastry: you will need butter that is soft but still pliable, so leave it at room temperature long enough to reach the right consistency. Start by cutting the butter into cubes and put them durante a bowl. Add the powdered sugar 2 and work the mixture with your hands a whisk until you obtain a cream 2. Then add the lightly beaten egg 3.

Mescolanza well with a spatula; don’t worry if the mixture doesn’t aspetto completely homogeneous 4. At this point pour durante all the flour at once 5 and knead with your hands, preferably cool ones 6.

As soon as the flour has been absorbed, transfer the mixture to a work surface 7 and work very quickly until you get a smooth ball 8. Wrap it durante plastic wrap and let it rest durante the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, roll out the pastry using a little flour for dusting 9; flour the rolling pin well too. You should obtain a thickness of about 3/8 durante.

Fit the pastry into the pan and trim the excess by pressing with the rolling pin 10 cutting with a small knife. Reknead the scraps and set them aside; they will be used to make the lattice strips. Now prick the pilastro with the tines of a fork 11. Fill with the jam and level it 12.

Roll out the saved scraps of pastry again; you can do this between two sheets of parchment paper to avoid adding too much flour. If the dough becomes too warm, briefly transfer it to the congelatore. Cut strips of dough with a fluted pastry wheel 14 and place them over the tart durante one direction 15.

Place the strips also durante the opposite direction to create the classic lattice 16. Bake durante the air fryer 17 at 320 F for 20 minutes. We used a 6.5 L (about 6.9 qt) air fryer. After 20 minutes, remove the tart from the fryer and let it cool 18.

Remove the tart from the pan, transfer it to a plate 19 and decorate with powdered sugar 21. Your air fryer tart is ready to be enjoyed 21!
