#Tansillo Pas Dosè is the current arrival at the #CantinadiVenosa (PZ): a #classicmethod rosé from #aglianico in pureness grown in espalier in between 500 and 550 meters above water level in the north-eastern part of the province of #Potenza, in the area of #Venosa; with yields of 80-100 quintals/hectare, for an overall of 3,500 plants aged 10-20 years. The Aglianico grapes are collected by hand in 10/12 kg boxes in the early hours of the early morning and right away transferred to the cellar for pushing and separation of the needs to from the skins. The refermentation in the bottle happens at a regulated temperature level of 12 ° C and the improvement of the bubbles on the yeasts continues for a minimum of 36 months. Pale pink in color with grainy reflections, on the nose it provides notes of little red berries, bread crust and pastries, on the taste buds fresh, vibrant, with great bubbles of exceptional taste and long, practically velvety determination. The mineral notes are similar to the volcanic area of #Vulture. The suggested serving temperature level is 8-10 ° C.

” Our series of red wines is broadened with a brand-new label that reveals the strength, character and flexibility of a fantastic grape range, Aglianico– remarks business director Antonio Teora -. It is the primary range of Vulture, a sign of our viticulture and above all of Cantina di Venosa, a method for us to represent a grape in all its possible expressions within a quality task that does not end here, undoubtedly with more surprises coming. Moreover, this white wine wishes to admire the poet Luigi Tansillo, born in Venosa in 1510″.

On the slopes of Vulture, from soils of volcanic origin, the terrific red wines of Cantina di Venosa are born, the only white wine cooperative in Basilicata and amongst the most essential in southern Italy, granted for many years in the primary global white wine competitors. A winery with 350 members and 800 hectares of vineyards planted with Aglianico, Malvasia di Basilicata, Moscato Bianco and Red wine; a modern-day winery, rooted in the area, mindful to development, comprised of over 50% youths, successors of a generation of little wine makers who restore themselves and upgrade themselves with concepts, energy, abilities, visions. Amongst brand-new sustainability jobs, vineyards kept an eye on by satellite, red wines in cellars under the sea and advanced structures for organization performance – bottling, shipping – Cantina di Venosa is a design business of cooperation: a neighborhood of little wine makers established in ’57 and has actually continuously grown in the numbers and quality of its red wines; from Carato Venusio Superiore, an effective, structured, sophisticated Aglianico del Vulture Docg, to Matematico, the terrific red from the very best harvests, from a Bordeaux mix of Red wine and Aglianico grapes, aged for 6 months in French barrique. And after that whites from Malvasia grapes from Basilicata, rosé from pure Aglianico, timeless approach bubbles. They are the oenological expressions of a design winery in a land abundant in history and culture, Venosa (Potenza), the town of Orazio, Roman poet of Carpe Diem, and of the madrigalist Carlo Gesualdo. However likewise a town of the “The Majority Of Lovely Towns in Italy”, in the shadow of the Angevin castle and the Vulture volcano.
