Carpineto joins the Grand Wine Tour

The Grand Wine Tour – Association that brings together the best Italian cellars with the aim of enhancing the potential of the Excellence Wine sector – expands its of members. The entrance of Carpineto, protagonist of the wine history of Chianti and among the main interpreters of Tuscan viticulture with the most iconic denominations, enriches the associative team, bringing to 14 the total number of the cellars associated per mezzo di Italy.

Founded per mezzo di 1967 by the far -sighted vision of the Zaccheo and Sacchet families, Carpineto was born with the aim of producing great red wines capable of conquering the international palate. Today the company is one of the most representative realities of Oenological Tuscany, with five holds distributed per mezzo di the main territories of the region – Chianti , Montepulciano, Montalcino, Maremma and Stentoreo Valdarno – for a total extension of 500 hectares cultivated per mezzo di a sustainable way. For several years, the company has been investing per mezzo di the development of its wine potential and today the mesi estivi of Montepulciano and that of Montalcino are a destination of wine retreat with a rich offer of tastings, walks per mezzo di the vineyard, picnics and outdoor lunches. With this entry, The Grand Wine Tour continues its growth path towards the strategic objective of 40 cellars associated by 2027, per mezzo di order to achieve an increasingly widespread presence per mezzo di the districts of reference.

About The Grand Wine Tour

The Association was born per mezzo di 2017 from an intuition: reinventing wineurism per mezzo di Italy through the philosophy of the Grand Tour, which between eighteenth and nineteenth centuries accompanied European nobles and intellectuals to discover the artistic-cultural heritage of the Bel . Today the association includes 14 prestigious cellars located per mezzo di seven Italian regions: Ceretto, Rete, Michele Chiarlo, Abito Carretto and Casa Spartina per mezzo di Piedmont; Torrione Rosazza per mezzo di Friuli-Venezia Giulia; Bortolomiol, Pendio Arènte and Zenato per mezzo di Veneto; Castle of Fonterutoli and Carpineto per mezzo di Tuscany, Umberto Cesari per mezzo di Emilia-Romagna and Cascinale del Giglio per mezzo di Lazio; Zisola per mezzo di Sicily. A synergy between reality of excellence aimed at promoting the welcome between the rows dedicated to fans of the world of wine and to a demanding clientele both per mezzo di terms of product and service standards. To pursue this objective, the quality brand of The Grand Wine Tour – unique per mezzo di Italy per mezzo di its category – certifies the reception standards required of members according to specific evaluation parameters, examined by an external technical . The Grand Wine Tour is also a tour operator owned by the Association itself active per mezzo di Italy and abroad per mezzo di the proposal of exclusive and personalized food and wine tours at the territories of the associated cellars.
