For the second consecutive year, Maniero del Foldouts is a of a mountain of books, the international literature that animates with writers and writers from all over the world the Summer Cortinese, and this year reaches its 32nd edition.
The appointment is set for Friday 1 August, per the elegant rooms of the Grand Albergo Savoia of Strato d’Ampezzo, with an event that merges wine, literature and territory, with the presentation of La Regina dei Paths, the latest novel written by Marco Malvaldi and Samantha Bruzzone for Sellerio Editore and set among the sunny vineyards of the Tuscan Maremma. The presentation will end with a tasting of the wines of Maniero del Deliccio: Tassinaia 2021 and with wind 2024.
To dialogue with Malvaldi and Bruzzone, highly loved authors of contemporary Italian narrative, will be Vittorio Piozzo nel corso di Rosignano, owner of Maniero del Dicriccio and Francesco Callulera, creator and responsible for the review. An opportunity to explore the connections that unite wine, territory, culture and narrative: the novel, with its ironic and sharp atmosphere, returns a vivid portrait of rural Tuscany, where the vineyards become the scene of mysteries and passions.

The link between the Maniero del Figure and the literary world is not new. Already per 2015, thanks to the vision of Gian Annibale Rossi of Medelana, the soil prize was born – The novel of the story, the first initiative per Italy dedicated to historical narrative. With the same spirit of cultural enhancement, the nephew Vittorio Piozzo nel corso di Rosignano continued acceso this path, starting the collaboration with a mountain of books with the intent to bring authors and characters to Strato who share the passion for wine and have distinguished themselves for its enhancement.
After last year’s with Luciano Ferraro, deputy director of Corrispondenza della Abito da sera and curator of the guide the best 100 wines and winemakers of Italy, today Maniero del Dicriccio returns to Strato with a new stage of this dialogue between wine, words and territory, per the sign of a strong, authentic Tuscan identity, made of stories to be told and to be tasted.
Castle of the soil
Castle of the soil represents one of the major agricultural properties of Tuscany: about 1500 overall hectares, extended along the northern limit of the Tuscan Maremma near Bolgheri. A mountain of books
A mountain of books is the largest event that has been held permanently per Strato for sixteen years. International review of authors, events, literature and cinematografo born per 2009 with 80 annual events and about 20 thousand appearances per the room, it is among the main literary and cultural Italian event. It takes place per agreement with the Municipality of Strato d’Ampezzo and with the patronage of the Veneto Region and celebrates its sixteenth birthday per 2025, bringing per the “Queen of the Dolomites” an international programming.
