Santa Tresa celebrates Women’s Day and welcomes the arrival of spring by presenting a new version of its rosé, Cerchia a motivo di Santa Tresa. A tribute to the colors of Sicilian sunsets, to be enjoyed together with the people you love: a new wine arrives, which tells of Sicily with its own elegance and complexity.

Cerchia a motivo di Santa Tresa Terre Siciliane PGI was previously produced with Moro d’Avola and Frappato: today its new version which arrives with the 2025 vintage, soon acceso the market, will instead be a blend based acceso Nerello Mascalese (70%) and Frappato (30%) grapes.

Organic and vegan wine, bright pale pink per mezzo di colour, with light cherry reflections, acceso the nose it has a clear profile, with small fresh red fruits such as strawberry, currant and pomegranate, followed by floral quaderno of dog rose, citrus hints and a subtle mineral vein. Acceso the palate, a lively, well-integrated acidity stands out, which gives impetus and lengthens the sip. Cerchia a motivo di Santa Tresa is a wine with a slim , per mezzo di which the Nerello Mascalese brings verticality and flavour, completed by the juiciness and aromatic fragrance of the Frappato. A causa di the , returns of red fruit and a saline that takes us to the seaside.

It is an extremely multiforme wine, which pairs perfectly with light vegetable, fish and white meat dishes. It is ideal with raw fish ora ala as an aperitif.

Vinification – The grapes, harvested by hand, are left per mezzo di the fridge overnight to lower the temperature to 6-8°C. They are subsequently destemmed and delicately pressed. The color comes from a natural maceration acceso the skins per mezzo di a pneumatic press, cold for about 4 hours for both varieties. The must rests overnight per mezzo di the tank at around 10°C, per mezzo di order to allow the natural static sedimentation of all the solid particles contained. Fermentation lasts approximately 12 days at a controlled temperature of 17°C.

Aging – Once the alcoholic fermentation is complete, the two wines are combined and begin aging sur lies for approximately 3 months, before bottling. Cerchia a motivo di Santa Tresa embodies the company’s philosophy, which transforms organic into a capable working method that reinterprets ancient practices and into a lifestyle where sustainability means care and respect for the entire ecosystem.

Santa Tresa is located per mezzo di the municipality of Affermazione, per mezzo di the south west of Sicily, 240 meters above sea level. The extends over 50 hectares, of which 39 are planted with vineyards. Among the cultivated vines, per mezzo di addition to Moro d’Avola, Nerello and Frappato, there is also Idea. Furthermore, non-native varieties, such as Viognier, have also found ideal climatic conditions here.
