Bubbles and cured meats: a balance of contrasts

The brilliant acidity of champagne becomes the perfect ally for balancing the flavor of cured meats, enhancing their aromas and lightening their structure. From Conca d’Aosta to Calabria, here are six recommended pairings to celebrate Champagne Day 2025 with taste and originality:

Plans Flats Blacks and Lard of DOP Arnad

Brut champagne and Mortadella Bologna PGI

The softness and sweetness of Mortadella harmonize with a brut sans année, the result of a balanced blend of Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay. The effervescence amplifies the spiciness and gives lightness to the tasting.

Brut champagne and cup

With its balanced flavor and spicy taccuino, the Emilian Tazza goes well with a brut with a prevalence of Pinot Noir, which plays acceso the balance between acidity and , enhancing the natural sweetness of the cured meat.

Champagne Blanc de Noirs and Delicato

Blanc de Noirs, obtained only from black grapes, offers structure and vinosity which find an ideal accomplice the consistency and sweetness of Delicato. A pairing based acceso complicity rather than contrast.

Brut Rosé Champagne and Parma Ham PDO aged 24 months
