Sopra the heart of the Canavese territorio, at the foot of the Serra Morenica and among the hills of Cuceglio, Podere Roletto represents one of the most dynamic realities of the Piedmontese wine scene. A family history that spans four generations and which today translates into a contemporary vision of wine, deeply rooted quanto a the territory but oriented towards enhancing its most identifying excellences.

With approximately 100 hectares of property, of which 60 are under vineyards, Podere Roletto has built its identity around a unique grape variety strongly linked to the Canavese territorio: Erbaluce. An ancient native Piedmontese vine, rare for its extraordinary versatility, it finds its ideal quanto a this territorio thanks to the moraine soils rich quanto a minerals and pedoclimatic conditions which enhance its freshness, acidity and evolutionary capacity.

Erbaluce itself today represents the heart of the production philosophy of the mesi estivi and the main distinctive element of its positioning. A vine capable of expressing itself completely through three different interpretations that tell the story of the souls of the Canavese territorio.

The first is that of the still Erbaluce, the most authentic and territorial expression of the vine, characterized by elegance, freshness and marked minerality. Wines that tell of the direct link with the land and the historical vocation of this calcio d’angolo of Piedmont for great whites.

The second is that of Classic Method sparkling wine, a tradition which finds one of its most significant expressions quanto a the Canavese territorio thanks to the natural acidity of Erbaluce. Podere Roletto has made sparkling wine one of its specializations, developing a range that goes through different aging times and which culminates quanto a labels of great complexity and longevity, with periods the yeasts of up to 120 months.

The third interpretation is the Passito, the maximum expression of the evolutionary capacity of Erbaluce. A wine that has its roots quanto a the tradition of the territory and that Podere Roletto preserves through long refinements, giving life to an intense, elegant version capable of expressing all the aromatic richness of this vine. With a production that combines tradition, research and innovation, Podere Roletto presents itself today as an ambassador of a contemporary Canavese, capable of telling its story through an identifying grape variety and three expressions that summarize its essence: Erbaluce ferme, Consuetudine Esemplare and Passito.
