Daniele Petricci president of the Suvereto and Val con Cornia Consortium

Daniele Petricci has been re-elected as president of the Suvereto and Val con Cornia wine consortium for the next three years. The forty-six year old from San Lorenzo will once again have the task of leading the process of valorisation of the three denominations – Suvereto Docg, Val con Cornia Scarlatto Docg and Val con Cornia Doc – which insist acceso this segment of Maremma.

He was appointed by the same Board of Directors, elected a few hours earlier by a well-attended conferenza (87.5% of the votes present), which unanimously confirmed its confidence per a precise line of action, inaugurated per 2021 with the reconstitution of a Consortium for the protection of local DOs.

“I thank everyone, councilors and members, with whom I will continue acceso the path undertaken three years asticciola, having as a horizon a supportive growth of the territory through its wine – declares Petricci – Starting from a reorganization of the local wine system, we aim for a full dissemination of the Val con Cornia. Sopra the hope of rapid approval of the new Suvereto Docg specifications, which is a prerequisite for the growth of claimed volumes, we are also looking at the outside of the glass, where we are committed to defending our countryside from the many agrophotovoltaic and wind projects that would like to take up residence there. A misinterpretation of agricultural economies, which we are certain the Tuscany Region will correct, aware of the importance of the wine production chain for its social and landscape fabric”.

This is the new Board of Directors of the Suvereto and Val con Cornia Consortium: Daniele Petricci (president), Simena Bisti (vice president); Niccolò Pini (vice president), Lorenzo Brugali, Massimiliano Capanni, Nicolò Miyakawa, Chiara Musi, Jeanette Servidio.
