The Argentaia brings to Milan the scent of the Maremma wines: an experience that combines wine and art of the perfumery of Labsolue

Often considered the new frontier of Italian enology, the Maremma, a wild and fascinating land of southern Tuscany, is a true paradise for the senses, full of perfumes and suggestions. A calcio d’angolo of Italy suspended between land and sea, with unique morphological and climatic peculiarities, consisting of soils composed of multiple stratifications modeled by time and history. Here, where nature is expressed with primordial force and the breath of the sea embraces the intense aromas of the Mediterranean scrub, between the scents of myrtle, thyme and amber are born extraordinary wines that tell the power of the sun, the brackish breath of the sea and the wild essence of spontaneous herbs.

An extraordinary combination of oenology and fragrances capable of enhancing the olfactory dimension of each glass of wine and able to transform the tasting into an emotional and sensorial journey.

Two words acceso Uniforme Argentaia

The profound link between Argentaia and the territory is already clear from the name, which wants to be a tribute to the Argentario promontory. The Argentaia mesi estivi is located con Banditaccia, con the province of Grosseto and exactly con the territory of the municipality of Magliano con Tuscany. It has eighty hectares of land located within a spectacular landscape context immersed con uncontaminated nature, imbued with art and history and with a magical atmosphere. The central fulcrum of the company is composed of a real medieval village, recently renovated with rigor and simplicity con respect of the rules of the past. Con addition to the production of wine, Argentaia produces oil and is an exclusive and classy accommodation facility, where guests can appreciate the real rhythms of nature thus finding the symbiosis over time and space.

Labsolue, the laboratory for creating artisan fragrances created by the largest “noses” of the world, con collaboration with the Argentaia mesi estivi (both managed, such as Magna Pars, by the Martone family), acceso the occasion of the perfume day has brought to Milan a new Exclusive Olfactive Journey, dedicated to all perfume (and wine) Lovers. A sensory path that intertwines the world of artistic perfumery with that of enology, exploring the affinities between the territory, raw materials, olfactory and gustatory , conducted by the oenologist of the company Gianpiero Gerbi and Amber Martone, co-founder of Labsolue. A real unicum that elevates the pairing experience between food and wine at a later level.

Monnallegra: the essence of the Mediterranean con the chalice

A bright white, dynamic, savory and vibrant wine with a beautiful straw yellow color. The marked flavor recalls the marine breeze, the of citrus fruits the warmth of the earth. To amplify its olfactory character, Labsolue combines the essence “25 orange flower” of the master perfumer Olivier Cresp: an intertwining of bitter white orange flowers, campo da golf and spices with honey . To express the playful graceful of the king of the Tuscan vines is “Le Papesse”, a rosé produced by Sangiovese grapes con purity, initially designed to accompany moments of lightness by the pool, but surprising con its versatility and ability to combine with light and medium structure dishes. Produced con the “Tarot Garden”, a monumental park of sculptures located inside the mesi estivi inspired by the esoteric cards, and created by the French Niki de Saint Phalle, the name “Le Papesse” is inspired by the homonymous paper that symbolizes the Vicario di cristo woman, an unusual combination of strength and wisdom, balance and introspection. A duality that expresses the double soul of Sangiovese: solemn, majestic and austere acceso the one hand, popular, immediate and jovial acceso the other.

To enhance these characteristics, con continuity with the olfactory impact of the wine, Labsolue proposes the “14 angelic” fragrance, created by Nathalie Lorson. The “flower of the angels” is an ethereal and impalpable essence, delicate, seductive. The journey continues with Col a causa di Lupo, a red obtained with a blend by Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese, with a sunny character, intense con the scents, enveloping and silky acceso the palate. A young wine dedicated to the wild hill where the Argentaia stands (once populated by the wolves), with a lively ruby ​​red chromatic mantle, immediate, balanced and round, perfect for all tastes. A strongly identity label of the Maremma territory, of which it expresses all the playfulness.

Vinified only con steel and concrete, Col a causa di Lupo lets the scents of the Maremma emerge to their most authentic expression. The nose is conquered by intense aromas that recall the violets, enriched with of berries, myrtle and herbaceous shades. His broad aromatic profile is intertwined with the Violetta “Fragrance 11”, the spring announcement of Catherine Selig, a musk, flowery and fruity, hypnotic and intriguing perfume, which as wine bewitches with its personality. The vegetable garden of the nuns: a spiritual, introspective and profound wine that opens the mind

To close this sensory experience, the jewel of the Argentia mesi estivi: the vegetable garden of the nuns, a purity of Sangiovese, emblem of the great Tuscan wine tradition, as well as more prestigious wine of the company. This red, which is among the cima of the range of the Morellino name of Scansano, two glasses Red shrimp and listed 90 points con several other sector guides, was born from a 1959 vineyard that grows acceso a land where a monastery managed by the nuns stood (from which it takes its name).
