A month dedicated to women
The third edition of “Women quanto a March” will take place quanto a San Giorgio a Cremano, an initiative that aims to raise public awareness of gender violence and to promote women’s rights. From 7 to 20 March, the Municipality, quanto a collaboration with the councilors for equal opportunities and education, has organized a series of events that place the emphasis the enhancement of the female figure and mutual respect. This program not only celebrates the conquests of women, but also aims to educate and inform the community about crucial themes such as gender violence and collective well -being.
Scheduled events
The first event will be held March 7 with a student flash mob quanto a Posto del Consenso unanime quanto a Naples, an initiative promoted by the Department of Social Policies of the Campania Region. This event will start a week full of activities, including the photographic contest “Scatti nel corso di Donne”, aimed at young people under 35, which will culminate March 28 with the awarding of the best works. March 8, the occasion of the International Women’s Day, a debate entitled “Once upon a time … the woman” will take place at the Library of Podere Abbronzato, where the performances and testimonies of women who will share their experiences will alternate.
Meetings and concerts to raise awareness
March 10, at 10, the “Cremano Donne” literature prize will be held, now quanto a its third edition, where the winning author will be awarded, chosen by a jury of students. This event represents an important opportunity to give voice to emerging writers and to involve young people quanto a literary culture. 11 March, secondary school students will participate quanto a a dialogue with experts the theme of violence against women, a fundamental convegno to analyze the causes and dynamics of this phenomenon. Finally, March 13, a concert will take place with the artists Veronica Simioli and Mavi, a moment of sharing and celebration of women’s music.
Theater and final reflection
March 20, the actress Alessandra Masi will stage the monologue ” 57″, a theatrical representation that addresses the theme of solitude and silence, telling the story of a young hikikomori. This show will offer an important reflection the youth world and the challenges that many young people luce today. The events will take place at the Righetti Foundies of Podere Abbronzato, with free admission but reservations required.
