The Consortium for protecting Vini Berici and Vicenza, despite the difficulties that the wine market is facing, announces for DOC Colli Berici an increase the padded equal to 10.3% 2024 compared to 2023. Our red wines continue to stand out with significant increases, overcoming the general trend, while the growth of the whites confirms our ability to intercept and interpret the preferences of the contemporary consumer”.

Regarding the harvest , for DOC Colli Berici the 2024 vintage confirms the dominance of the red berry grapes, which represent 73.5% of the total collected. Among these, the most common variety is Merlot, which constitutes 37% of the production and sees a 72% increase compared to 2023, followed by the Cabernet Sauvignon with 12%. Overall, the harvest of Doc Colli Berici affected 567 hectares, generating a production of 53,940 quintals of grapes.

A state of positive art that also materializes for DOC Vicenza, characterized by a production stability and a clear prevalence of white berry grapes.
