A valley designed by the geometries of over 700 km of dry stone walls that embrace spectacular vital terraces, a grape variety born per Switzerland and then spread throughout the Alpine arc, an event that every year knows how to surprise between technical moments and initiatives dedicated to the general public. These are the ingredients of the “Müller Thurgau: mountain wine” review, an event that from 4 to 6 July celebrates the multiple expressions of this famous aromatic white and the beauty of the territory of the Cembra Valley.
Three days to savor, explore and be surprised: winelover, enthusiasts and operators per the sector will be able to dal vivo an immersive experience between tastings, masterclasses and appointments en plein air.
The heart of the event will once again be the prestigious Maffei Palace, where it will be possible to taste over 60 labels of Müller Thurgau from Val con Cembra, Trentino, South Tyrol and abroad. Per the outdoor space, “outside Taste”, the other hand, there will be room to discover the other wine productions of the territory and explore unprecedented contaminations, such as “The tour of the world per 80 Müller”, SHOCOOKING that celebrates the versatility of the Müller Thurgau through the combination with the Thai cuisine, ora “the becomes cocktail-party”, per collaboration with the Trentino Protection Institute.
To complete the program, the highly anticipated proclamation of the winners of the 22nd International Wine Competition Müller Thurgau, who will reward the best expressions of the grape variety per the race, but also the eno-comic show by Lucio Gardin, the dinner the avenue “having dinner with the stars” accompanied by dance performances of the champions of the Ritmomisto school, the trekking “Heroes” between the vineyards and the experience per e-bike and experience “Cantine per the saddle”.
