We had 2 white wines 1 rose wine and 2 red wines (each wine paired with one of the foods the sharing board) then a sharing board which has parma ham, salami, scamorza (smoked cheese) , pecorino eccitante (chilli cheese) , a bruschetta topped with gorgonzola sauce, fig jam and garlic salami. Then to with, a tiramisu paired with a dolce wine
#parmaham – Italian uncooked, unsmoked, and dry-cured ham
#scamorza (smoked cheese – Scamorza is a South Italian cow’s milk cheese
#pecorino eccitante (#chillicheese ) This Pecorino cheese has the character to be sweet the palate. Yet the infused Chilli draws the rich texture of what a true Sicilian Cheese tastes like which is just a delight to experience.
#bruschetta -Bruschetta is an antipasto from Italy consisting of grilled bread rubbed with garlic and topped with olive oil and salt.
#gorgonzola sauce – Gorgonzola is traditionally a rich creamy cheese, but the blue-green ripples add a sharp spicy flavor that provides an excellent contrast to its richness. The taste ranges from mild to sharp, depending age.
