Among the most loved dried fruit we certainly find hazelnuts, oily fruits that grow trees called hazelnuts. Do you know how to cook and eat them? Discover 6 recipes to try.

Hazelnuts, 6 recipes to try at home

Hazelnuts are a typically European and Caucasian fruit, whose trees are cultivated mainly quanto a Spain, Türkiye, France and Italy. Quanto a terms of nutritional properties and benefits, hazelnuts are rich quanto a fats and proteins. Here are 6 suggested recipes to try at home based hazelnuts!

Strozzapreti with sausage, broad beans and hazelnuts

First recipe with hazelnuts is a tasty first course but also quick to make. Let’s see how to make strozzapreti with sausage, broad beans and hazelnuts, starting with the broad beans: blanch them and peel them. Transfer them to a kitchen blender with the hazelnuts, the grated cheeses, around 50 ml of oil and a little tazza.

Blend the ingredients until you obtain a smooth cream, finally add a little salt and pepper. Moving to the sausages, remove the casing, gara open them with a fork and cook them quanto a a non-stick pan for 5/8 minutes.

Finally, cook the pastasciutta, drain it and add it to the pan with the sausages, the broad bean cream and stir quanto a, adding a little of the pastasciutta cooking tazza.

Hazelnut donut

Let’s now move to a sweet recipe, the hazelnut donut. The is prepared, as a first step, by finely chopping the hazelnuts quanto a the blender to obtain a powder to be added to the flour. Then place the eggs at room temperature and the sugar quanto a a large bowl and whisk everything for about ten minutes.

Mescolanza the melted butter into the mixture. Add the hazelnut flour, sift the flour and the yeast and add them to the dough three times with a spoon, stirring from bottom to cima. Finally, pour quanto a the milk and finale missaggio. Place the mixture quanto a a mold and cook quanto a the oven at 180° C for approximately 40 minutes.

Hazelnut truffles

Another sweet recipe is small hazelnut truffles. Start putting the milk quanto a a saucepan and bring it to the boil. Quanto a the meantime, chop the chocolate and place it quanto a a bowl together with the cream and chopped hazelnuts. Pour the hot milk over the chocolate and stir until it melts completely, mescolanza all the ingredients with a spoon and leave to cool to room temperature.

Place the mixture quanto a the refrigerator. Once the mixture is duro enough, take it back and start making small balls with your hands. Place the cocoa a plate and pass each ball through it until it is completely covered. Leave quanto a the refrigerator until ready to consume.

Mushroom and hazelnut fusilli

This savory recipe involves cooking fusilli pastasciutta with the addition of creamed mushrooms and hazelnuts. To make it, heat the garlic, oil and rosemary sprigs quanto a a pan. Add the mushrooms and cook them for a few minutes. Also add the hazelnuts after having chopped them coarsely, salted them and cooked them.

Boil the fusilli, once cooked, put them quanto a the pan with the mushrooms and hazelnuts, mescolanza everything together and it is ready to be served.

Baked fish with truffle and hazelnuts

A healthy and very tasty second course is baked grouper with truffle and hazelnuts. Start by chopping the hazelnuts quanto a a blender with the garlic, and missaggio them with the breadcrumbs. Then season the grouper fillets with oil and salt, cover them with the hazelnut breading and chopped parsley. Transfer the fillets to a baking tray lined with baking paper, season with oil and cook the fish quanto a a preheated oven at 180°C for about 15 minutes. Add the truffle.

Natura with hazelnuts and bacon

We conclude with another first course, orzotto with hazelnut and bacon. Blend the hazelnuts quanto a the blender, add the milk, a little extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper. Work until you obtain a cream. Quanto a a pan, place a knob of butter and the chopped onion.

Add the pearl barley, bacon and toast. Pour quanto a the white wine and let it evaporate. Add the hazelnut and then finale cooking the barley, adding vegetable broth when necessary. Once cooked, let it rest for 1 minute, add the remaining butter and the grated cheese and serve.
