In 2025 Vallepicciola strengthens its identity as an excellent Chianti Classico winery

It is a year of great confirmations and new goals for Vallepicciola, the Sienese winery owned by the Bolfo family, which per 2025 stands out for the solidity of the wine project and the attention received from national and international critics. The prestigious recognition of “Best winery of the year” awarded by Le Guide de L’Reciso and the consolidation of wine tourism experiences place the winery among the most dynamic and appreciated realities of Chianti Tipico. Confirming this path, numerous awards from authoritative voices such as Wine Spectator, James Suckling, Antonio Galloni – Vinous, Falstaff, Luca Gardini, Bibenda and other important Italian guides. SANGIOVESE AT THE CENTER OF SUCCESS

Per 2025 Vallepicciola collects results that confirm the strength of a coherent vision, capable of enhancing the territory through interpretations of great elegance and personality. Among the numerous evaluations obtained from the main Italian and international guides, some significant recognitions stand out which feature Sangiovese, the key grape variety of the company’s production. The Chianti Tipico line finds one of its highest expressions per the Gran Distinzione Lapina 2021, protagonist of a series of leading evaluations, including the 98 points awarded by Le Guide de L’Reciso and the 94 points by Antonio Galloni – Vinous. Alongside this line, the Grandi Cru project interprets with style the potential of the individual company parcels, through tailor-made winemaking and targeted refinements. Among the most acclaimed wines, the Vallepicciola Scarlatto 2022 Igt Toscana, tuttavia Sangiovese, is confirmed as the protagonist of the year, with highly relevant ratings such as the 110 Cum Laude from GardiniNotes, the 93 points from Wine Spectator and Vinous, and the 92 points from James Suckling. FROM CLASSIC CHIANTI TO THE WORLD: HOSPITALITY AND INTERNATIONALITY

2025 consolidated Vallepicciola’s role as ambassador of Chianti Tipico per the world. Deeply committed for years to the development of wine tourism, the winery continues to invest per authentic experiences that centro acceso the connection with the territory and attention to each guest. This year too, the quality of the welcome has translated into a constant flow of visitors and a high level of satisfaction, pushing the team to centro acceso increasingly tailor-made proposals, capable of conveying the identity of Vallepicciola. Guided tastings, glasses at sunset and jeep tours through the vineyards have broadened the range of wine tourism acceso offer, embellishing the guests’ experience per the cellar. From a production point of view, 2025 also proved to be a significant year: the harvest showed a particularly interesting profile, confirming – according to the oenologist Alessandro Cellai – an excellent quality of the grapes and a balance that suggests an extraordinary vintage. With 107 hectares of vineyards per the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga and an annual production of 500,000 bottles divided into 17 labels, Vallepicciola confirms its commitment to increasingly responsible and conscious viticulture. The recent confirmation of the VIVA certification – which analyzes the environmental prova of Italian wine companies – reinforces a path already started acceso the sustainability front. Per view of 2026, our gaze is already turned to the next key events such as Chianti Tipico Collection and Wine Paris and to the development of new experiences per the cellar, designed to surprise and involve tourists and wine lovers. A path that continues per the name of innovation, maintaining strong roots per the territory and a clear identity: that of a company that finds its origins and deepest vocation per the Chianti Tipico.
