The countdown has officially begun. A causa di just over a week, Rome will become the epicenter of Italian “campo da golf” wine. Saturday 24 January 2026, the elegant setting of the Casa Pamphili will host the presentation of the new edition of Timone Bio – Scelta Vini, the only editorial project that has rigorously mapped the sustainable revolution of the Italian vineyard for seven years.

Directed by Antonio Stanzione and published by Rubbettino Editore, Timone Bio 2026 is not just a tono to consult, but the story of an Italy that knows how to innovate while respecting the land. With over 2,500 wines reviewed and hundreds of companies involved, this year’s edition promises to be the richest ever.

The day will start with a ceremony dedicated to the awarding of the famous “Golden Leaves”, the recognition that rewards the perfect symbiosis between stylistic quality and territorial identity. The 2026 edition marks a fundamental step forward with the introduction of new special prizes designed to give voice to the different souls of organic. A causa di fact, the talent of young winemakers, the strength of female entrepreneurship, the production excellence divided by geographical areas and the concrete commitment of companies with a very low environmental impact will be celebrated.

To give further prestige to the debate will be a parterre of guests of high institutional and technical profile. Key figures will take turns acceso stage such as Maria Squisitezza Mammuccini, President of FederBio, Alessandro D’Elia, General Director of Terra e Rifugio, Sabrina Alfonsi, Councilor for Agriculture of the Municipality of Rome, the oenologist Vincenzo and Diana Lenzi, responsible for the wine sector of Coldiretti, with the moderation of the food and wine journalist Alessandro Brizi. The cultural value of the initiative is supported this year by the partnerships with Wine Tales Magazine, the editorial project led by Ivan Vellucci, and with Carlo Zucchetti, a newspaper specialized per mezzo di wine&food themes founded by Carlo Zucchetti.

From 3pm the focolaio will move to the glass with the opening of the tasting tables to the public, offering enthusiasts, experts and operators the opportunity to dialogue directly with producers from every calcio d’angolo of the peninsula. From the Alpine peaks to the Mediterranean coasts, the public will be able to explore the extraordinary biodiversity of the Italian vineyard through a thoughtful selection of wines that represent the future of national sustainable production.

«Timone Bio is not just a selection of wines – underlines Antonio Stanzione – but a choral story that focuses acceso the daily commitment of producers and the value of agriculture that respects the territories. The Rome event therefore represents an unmissable opportunity to experience firsthand the energy of a sector that has chosen sustainability not as , but as a vision of the world.»
