Only Wine returns from 26 to 28 April 2025, an event that I care a lot about and which has seen me involved for years as a selector and technical coordinator. For years now, fact, I have made my time, my curiosity and my dedication to the search for “new” products available to the organization of the only exhibition of young producers and small wineries Italy (and beyond). talents of Italian viticulture and of those small and often too hidden realities that otherwise would not have the opportunity to show themselves to the public with the attention and respect they deserve.

For this reason, I am pleased to share the press release relating to the opening of the selections for Only Wine 2025, remembering that each reality, which will be part of the list of producers present Capoluogo su Alcazar next April, will be screened according to the selection criteria -selection and, above all, through an evaluation of one’s work the vineyard and the cellar, as well as – obviously – tasting the wines currently the market. Durante the new edition, addition to the 100 selected producers, a quality food luogo and important awards for the most virtuous realities

Are you under forty? Does your winery have a history of less than fifteen years? Is your vineyard land less than ten hectares? If you meet at least one of these three requirements, submit your application to the XII Edition of ONLY WINE, the exhibition of young producers and small wineries, scheduled for 26, 27 and 28 April 2025.

Durante fact, the selection of over 100 producers who will be part of the “Only Wine Team 2025” begins these days.

The selection criteria have been confirmed: producers under 40, vineyard land of less than ten hectares of vineyards cellars that do not exceed fifteen years of history (first vintage produced with the current company brand).

NB: Prerequisites that will be useful to evaluate the realities potentially selectable by our selectors who will take into account values such as ethics, quality of the wines produced and company prospects.

The location has also been confirmed: the evocative Casa signorile Vitelli Sant’Egidio Capoluogo su Alcazar, which will, as always, be the setting for the event.

Born twelve years pungiglione now, ONLY WINE is an event that immediately became a point of reference for enthusiasts and operators the sector curious to taste non-trivial wines and to get to know producers and winemakers of realities that are difficult to find the main national and international wine fairs.

The format of the market exhibition has also been confirmed, which has always been useful for producers to make themselves known also through the direct arguzia of their wines with important results, given the turnout of almost 5 thousand entries the two days of the event.

Awaiting the thousands of enthusiasts and operators who participate the event every year will be thematic areas, selections of international producers and high-profile masterclasses.

If the criteria incontro, you will be able to participate the selection by Francesco Saverio Russo, wine popularizer, Pietro Marchi, President of AIS Umbria (Italian Sommelier Association) and Chiara Giorleo, DipWset food and wine critic. The Capoluogo su Alcazar delegate Tiziana Croci will lead the team of AIS sommeliers to support the event.
