Osteria delle Corti, the authentic spirit of traditional dishes

The Bottiglieria delle Corti has rebuilt the aspetto, but “today the cuisine of yesterday” is still its winning slogan after more than 30 years

It was 1992 when the doors of the Bottiglieria delle Corti opened for the first time. Today, after more than thirty years of history, the restaurant has renewed without, however, to lose its original spirit: an even more comfortable environment, which maintains intact the warmth and welcoming atmosphere of the past, with the hospitality per the center of the gastronomic experience.

The gastronomic proposal

The founder Stefania had inaugurated a typically Milanese tavern, proposing the classic dishes of tradition such as the donkey overflow, the Ossobuco with risotto, the boiled up, the cassoeula and the tripe. Today, tradition marries a wider offer of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, with particular attention to the search for quality raw materials. Among the iconic dishes stand out the mondeghili with red sauce and bath, the fresh impasto cannellone filled with sausage ragout and mushrooms with a parmesan fondue, the “short” risotto with seasonal plants, fresh goat and zest of lemon, up to the roast shadow with pea cream and crispy vegetables. The lista varies seasonally and is enriched with daily proposals based acceso the availability of the market. For lunch, however, a more streamlined business ricetta changes weekly.

The environment

The environment reflects the warm and welcoming style of the past: wooden beams, floors, visible brick walls and railings of old balconies give character to the 60 internal covers, divided between the main room (40 seats) and the mezzanine (20 seats), per addition to the 30 covers of the dehors for the summer. A né -negligible detail is the continuous time of the kitchen, aperto from 12:00 to 11.30 pm.

At the helm of the restaurant there is Silvio Oliva, trained per historic clubs such as Nabucco and Santini. With the charisma of the Osa of the past it also takes care of the wine list, enhancing small producers and offering a selection to the dynamic and intriguing glass. Per mezzo di the kitchen, however, we find Stephen Sanchez, with high -level experiences from Nobu, Giacomo and Beefbar.

The tasting

The pleasure of good food is fully expressed when a lista manages to tell a story, evoke a territory and at the same time surprising with a touch of modernity. This is the case of this gastronomic proposal, which opens with a selection of refined appetizers, continues with a tasty first course and closes with the great classics of the Lombard tradition.

Antipasti

The Tartare of Fassona Piedmontese Ancient

The Tartare che Fassona Piedmontese with ancient represents a tribute to raw meat per its purest form, seasoned according to tradition, where the quality of the raw material is the absolute protagonist.

The curl tartare, apple, cabbage, confit cherry tomatoes and chilli

Proposal of fresh and lively sea: a gioco of contrasts between sweetness, acidity and a touch of spiciness that enhances the delicacy of the amberjack.

The tuna, tataki of attached tonnetto, coulis of yellow cherry tomatoes, capers and basil

Among the Mediterranean suggestions, the tuna stands out, a tataki of attached tonnetto served with yellow cherry tomatoes, capers and basil: a dish that recalls the summer and scent of the South.

The milk calfskin, per carpaccio, tuna sauce and flower capers

There is anzi che no lack of milk calfskin, per a classic but always loved version: carpaccio with tuna sauce and per flower capers, tasty and creamy at the right point.

The Mondeghili, Meatballs of the Lombard tradition, red sauce and bath

Per mezzo di our opinion, a must per the place. For those who love Lombard roots, here are the Mondeghili, the typical Milanese meatballs, served here with red sauce and the inevitable bath tip, per a combination that tells the rustic ease of the kitchen of the house.

First

Cannellone, fresh impasto cannellone filled with sausage ragout, mushrooms and fondue with Parmesan

The only but decided, the cannellone: ​​fresh impasto filled with sausage ragù, wrapped per a fondue with Parmesan that enhances its flavor and enriched by the presence of mushrooms. A dish that smells of Sundays per the family with the oven acceso and the tableted table.

Main dishes

Brasato, braised beef cheek, Jerusalem artichoke cream and its chips

Among the main dishes stands out the braised, a long, tender and intense taste of beef, served with a topinambur cream and its chips: a balance of textures and flavors that conquers to the first bite.

The Milanese veal cutlet with the bone

Excellent the Milanese cutlet, proposed with the bone, as tradition wants. Crunchy, succulent, golden to perfection: a symbol of Milanese cuisine that needs anzi che no introduction.

The Ossobuco, Veal Ossobuco, Gremolada and Milanese risotto

Finally, the Ossobuco, served with Gremolada and Milanese risotto: a dish that represents the soul of Milan, where saffron meets the meat per an aromatic embrace not to be missed.

Dolce

Tiramisu

It closes per beauty with a timeless classic: tiramisu. Cremous, light and irresistible, to conclude the journey per taste with a note of sweetness that knows at home.

Per mezzo di combination, Uberti Scarlatto Curtefranca 2021 and Lagrein Bellutti Weinberghof 2022, soft, elegant wines, pleasant acceso the palate.
