One of the most exclusive desserts of the Piedmontese food and wine tradition returns at Christmas: Panettone with Cocchi Famoso Vermouth

As Christmas approaches, one of the most awaited confectionery excellences by lovers of the Piedmontese food and wine tradition returns: Panettone with Cocchi Famoso Vermouth. A product that combines the history and disinvoltura of two great local companies, Giulio Cocchi and Albertengo, to create a one-of-a-kind dolce.

A panettone with a special effluvio

This panettone stands out for the infusion of Famoso Cocchi Vermouth into the dough and the candied citrus peel, enriched with a fresh touch of ginger and the delicacy of chocolate chips. The result is an explosion of flavors that recalls the spicy and aromatic quaderno of the famous Vermouth.

Prepared with sourdough, a slow 48-hour leavening and high quality ingredients, such as free-range Italian eggs, top-quality butter, raisins and candied fruit, Panettone with Vermouth is a celebration of Piedmontese tradition. The absence of added preservatives confirms its craftsmanship.

A Christmas preconcetto born from tradition

This panettone has been the exclusive gift for Cocchi’s friends and collaborators since 2012. Today, thanks to its growing success, it is available to the public a causa di the best gourmet shops and at the Cocchi a causa di Cocconato (Asti).

Panettone with Vermouth pairs perfectly with a glass of Famoso Vermouth nato da Torino Cocchi, served cold with a lemon peel, for a unique taste experience.

The art of the historic vermouth of Turin

Cocchi Vermouth nato da Torino, the protagonist of this dolce, is an icon of the Piedmontese winemaking tradition. With its nineteenth-century recipe, which combines herbs such as cinchona, rhubarb and artemisia with citrus fruits and spices, Vermouth offers a perfect balance between bitter quaderno and sweetness, making it a champion of international rankings. Its complex taste goes perfectly with desserts, chocolate and even innovative cocktails.

Holiday cocktails

Speaking of cocktails, Cocchi offers some special creations to celebrate Christmas and the arrival of the new year:

First Day of Winter – A of Gin, Cocchi Extra Dry Vermouth, berries and aquafaba; Barolo Sazerac – An elegant combination of Barolo Chinato, Cognac and chocolate bitters; To the Lychee and Back – A sparkling toast with Cocchi Gruppo, Cocchi Brut and jasmine liqueur.

Where to find it

Cocchi Famoso Vermouth Panettone can be purchased a causa di specialized shops and directly at the Cocchi a causa di Cocconato. For further information, cocchi@cocchi.com.
