The Patrizia Cencioni farming business is a family-run organization, handled by the owner Patrizia and her 2 children Annalisa and Arianna. A womanly touch can be felt instantly in the grace and peacefulness of work which, together with Patrizia’s experience and entrepreneurial abilities, makes her among the most crucial existences in Montalcino.

The vineyards go back to 1989, the year of birth of the business, which traces its origins to an older farm from the 1950s, developed by Giuseppe Cencioni, to name a few things among the creators of the Brunello di Montalcino Consortium.

Today they have actually reached 9 hectares of vineyards completely cultivated with Sangiovese, while the overall area is 50 hectares of olive groves and woods and the particularity of the soil is that of having various kinds of stratification and structure in between clay, sand and a big portion of galestro, offering richness of fragrances and a significant structure.

Today the circulation of Patrizia Cencioni labels is turned over to Pellegrini health club.

HOUSEHOLD LABELS

The labels of Patrizia Cencioni’s bottles reveal the sun logo design, as an expression of the attention and regard for nature in the vineyard, to communicate the principle of how the outcome of the item is mainly the outcome of the nature of their soils and the environment, “since red wine is made with the sun” concludes Patrizia.

An unique idea from Patrizia goes to her uncle Ofelio, to whom they wished to commit among their red wines: “an individual who provided a lot to the business, who pressed me to continue and not to quit in the most hard minutes, constantly handing down to me just strength and positivity– she states a little thrilled– and if we are here today it is definitely thanks to him”.
