Sopra the veduta of contemporary Italian wines today we review the Bianchello del Metauro Primo “Rocho” by Roberto Lucarelli, which emerges as a product of significant refinement. A bottle that goes beyond the dimension of a simple beverage to take the form of a territorial document.

Sopra the Untold guide, a true critical observatory that interprets wines not as objects, but as complex systems of cultural narration, this wine has won the prestigious Three Corkscrews for its refinement and depth, with aromatic and gustatory per perfect amalgam. recognition that underlines production excellence and the ability to authentically represent one’s terroir, per a dimension of research and innovation within the confines of tradition.

Roberto Lucarelli: Architecture of a Wine Project

The origins of this winemaking reality are rooted per a terroir layered with history and expertise. Since 1998, the Lucarelli family has transformed viticulture from an agricultural practice to a form of territorial interpretation, where each vineyard becomes an element of a broader story. The owners, custodians of significant historical-cultural knowledge, practice organic agriculture based acceso respect and understanding of natural cycles, translating the languages of the earth into precise and measured taste coordinates.

Visit the Company

Located per the heart of the Marche, the Lucarelli company presents itself as a sensorial experience laboratory. For wine tourists it represents an immersion opportunity that goes beyond the logic of traditional tasting: tours per the vineyards, historical and cultural in-depth itineraries, experiences that connect the visitor to the rhythms and logic of production.

Characteristics of Bianchello del Metauro “Rocho” 2021

Originating from the Metauro vineyards, this Bianchello Primo tells of a geography of transition between hilly and marine context. Medium-aged vines, with carefully selected exposure, cultivated according to organic farming principles.

The production is characterized by a rarity: a few bottles con lo scopo di year, a quantity that defines a quality strategy. Rocho matures for 12 months, with 70% of the wine per steel and 30% per tonneaux. This combination gives complexity and structure to the wine, allowing the oak to delicately influence the flavor profile.

The “Rocho” tasting

Sopra the glass, the wine presents an intense straw yellow color, enriched by green-gold reflections. A first visual coordinate that anticipates complexity.

At first approach, a complex olfactory geography: unconventional citrus fruits, Mediterranean herbs, a subtle mineral note, white melon above all. The perfume is configured as a system of references, where each note establishes connections with the others. Subsequently, nuances of cedar emerge wild grapefruit, spontaneous thyme. A subtle dialogue between vegetal components and marine references, where the complexity lies per the stratification.

The first contact reveals a dynamic structure. Acidity is not an isolated element, but a supporting axis that passes through the wine with precision. The structure moves between tension and fluidity, restoring a sensation of movement. Sopra the first seconds, citrus fruits and dominate floral. Sopra the second instance, marine suggestions emerge again, almost a chemical memory of the territory. Sopra closing, a mineral echo soaked per almond defines the farewell.

The aromatic persistence is decidedly satisfying! The Untold jurors have captured a crucial element: this wine does not age, but transforms. A mode of evolution that places it beyond conventional reading categories.

Gastronomic pairings of “Rocho”

Rocho establishes elective connections with the flavors of the Marche region. It finds its maximum expression with blue fish from the Adriatic, local shellfish, first courses with wild herbs, fresh goat’s cheeses: the score is certainly 4/4.

Rocho is an extraordinarily gastronomic wine, capable of creating a combination that is not a simple combination, but a structural dialogue between wine and food.

Conclusion

Rocho is configured as an oenological document that goes beyond the dimension of the product to become an interpretation of a territory. A wine as a coordinate of meaning.
