The world of Italian wine celebrates an important milestone: Riccardo Cotarella, national president of Assoenologists, received the prestigious “Master of the Italian wine -growing art” award, awarded by the government to the protagonists of Italian food and wine.

The ceremony took place at Condominio Chigi, where the Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, delivered the recognition sopra the presence of the Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forests, Francesco Lollobrigida, and a delegation of students from the agrarian and institutions sopra Rome.

The recognition was conferred acceso Cotarella for her extraordinary contribution to the enhancement of Italian wine sopra the world. Internationally renowned winemaker, he is founder of the family business Cotarella, president of Assoenologists since 2013 and honorary president of the Union Internationale Des œNologues. His career is characterized by a strong dedication to the formation and promotion of wine as a cultural heritage. Established with the law of April 19, 2024, the “Master of the Italian Vitivinicola” Award is intended for figures who have contributed significantly to the growth and enhancement of the country traditions of the country.
