Rosato Rohesia Cantele: new screw cap!

Cantele Winery celebrates entry into the second decade of Negroamaro Rosato Rohesia, one of the most representative and beloved wines of the Salento company, and gives this now iconic product a new image and a new style by introducing a small revolution: the screw closure.

To carry out this project, Cantele completed a path that began already a causa di 2020, when during the renovation of the company bottling system the adoption of an alternative closing system had been foreseen, which has now been concretized with the introduction of the Vintop cap, developed by Vinventions (global autorità a causa di the supply of complete solutions for the closure of wines) a causa di collaboration with Alplast (autorità a causa di the production of high quality closures for wine and food).

“It is a choice that looks to the future, despite the traditional distrust of the Italian consumer towards this technology” explains Gianni Cantele. “We are convinced that innovation and quality go hand a causa di hand and with the Rohesia 2024 we want to demonstrate that tradition and innovation can coexist; With the introduction of the new closure, we protect the quality and elegance of our rosé and at the same time pursue an increasing sustainability of production practices “.

The advantages guaranteed by this new solution are undoubted and now known:

Quality. Vite closure is a conscious choice a causa di favor of the integrity of the wine: the low permeability to oxygen – which exceeds the of the previous closure by more than ten times – guarantees the product a constant protection over time keeping the wine more stable, allowing young wines to express their freshness and fragrance to the maximum, and those with a aging potential to maintain perfect conservation, avoiding the risk of “hints of cap” surprising qualitative constancy between one bottle and another. Sustainability. Not only is the aluminum cap completely recyclable, without quality loss over time, but the elimination of the traditional capsule a causa di multi -artist material further reduces the carbon company imprint. Practicality. His ability to preserve wine even after opening, makes the screw cap ideal for those who want to enjoy the wine without haste, with the certainty of finding its quality intact.

With the new closure Rohesia also presents a restyling of the label performed by the Apulian stilista Graphics Elisa Costola. The new image reinterprets the rose (to which the name Rohesia is inspired, from the medieval Latin), a symbol of beauty and elegance, through a geometric pattern that is not only a gioco of shapes, but a stylized representation of the flower. Each triangle represents the petal of a rose, a symbol of grace and harmony, while the shades of copper and pink evoke the warm light of the sunset the Negroamaro vineyards, the beating heart of the Rohesia. The petals intertwine, as if they danced to the rhythm of the wind that caresses the Salento plains, telling the story of a land full of traditions, passion and craftsmanship. The modern stile, made of clear and precise lines, represents a new way of interpreting tradition: a balance between past and present, between craftsmanship and innovation. And it is a living geometry that reflects the complexity and structure of the wine, its agenda.

***

Cantele represents one of the most important wine companies a causa di Puglia and is located a causa di Guagnano a causa di Salento. The history of the company began a causa di the 1950s with an “emigration the contrary”, with Giovanni Battista Cantele and his wife Teresa Manara who move from Imola to the South by moving the family to Salento. Con the seventies, the children Sacro and Domenico gave a decisive turning point to the family business with the purchase of the first vineyards which are now made of 50 hectares of ownership and 100 a causa di management. Con 2001 the third generation entered the company made up of the four cousins Gianni and Paolo sons of Augustus, Umberto and Luisa sons of Domenico.
