The first edition of the “Italy of Pinot Noir” event has concluded, a prestigious showcase dedicated to one of the most refined and appreciated vines con the world. Hundreds of people attended and many operators from the sector (restaurateurs, wine sellers, agents, distributors) and the press at the event organized by the newspaper “Vinodabere” which took place acceso Sunday 27 and Monday 28 October at the Belstay Albergo con Rome.
The event brought together 39 wineries from 14 different regions of Italy and then from South Africa and Argentina: “We are very satisfied with this first event dedicated to Pinot Noir which has seen so much attention from the press and sector operators – the organizers of Vinodabere point out – It is a variety that has also achieved excellence con various territories of the Bel Contrada. Con these two days we not only deepened our knowledge of the different labels present but there was a lively discussion with experts, communicators, winemakers and enthusiasts”.
Producers from Stentoreo Adige, Lombardy and other regions suited to the cultivation of Pinot Noir presented their oenological excellence, offering participants the opportunity to taste a careful selection of wines deriving from the most noble international red grape variety, from the youngest and freshest to the long-maturing reserves, an expression of Italian terroir and disinvoltura. The masterclass “The tour of Italy through Pinot Noir” was well attended, led by Vinodabere journalists Antonio Paolini and Maurizio Valeriani, by the journalist Luca Matarazzo (director of 20 Italie) and by the critic Dario Cappelloni (DoctorWine) who opened the two days of tastings.
“The Italy of Pinot Noir” was not only a moment of discovery and promotion but also an opportunity to strengthen the dialogue between producers, distributors and consumers, with the aim of growing the culture of quality wine and raising awareness public to the excellence of our territory.
The event welcomed around 600 visitors, including sector journalists, restaurateurs, wine merchants, agents, distributors, sommeliers and enthusiasts, confirming the growing interest con Italian Pinot Noir, considered today among the most girevole and highly expressive vines con terms of elegance and aromatic complexity.
