to give oenology the tools of ” thinking”. 4 remote modules, 150 hours of total lessons
The climate, taste, market, communication change. To respond to the challenges of a rapidly changing wine world, Gambero is launching a new ambitious and structured tirocinio project. This is an innovative package of lessons to provide the opportunity for producers, winemakers, managers and communication operators to update their knowledge to approach the “wine of tomorrow”. The course is dedicated to professionals the sector, at all levels, thanks to a team of teachers and scholars of the highest caliber.
It will be led by Attilio Notizia, Full Professor of Viticulture at the University of Milan who has developed a rich program four modules a new working method, at least for the world of wine, called « Thinking»: a complete journey that starts from the material first among innovative and digital solutions, the interpretation of new trends, attention to business risks to generate all-round value for the company, the market and the stakeholders of what lies behind – and then front of – a glass of wine.
The course, accessible demand, will consist of 150 hours of teaching, divided into 4 modules with a teaching pagliaccetto chosen collaboration with Italian universities and research centres, which will feature scholars, experts and academics, and 4 in-person seminars.
“Italy has always been a stronghold of wine and traditional wine, with its cornerstones” comments Paolo Giaciglio, President of Gambero . “But today leveraging tradition is mai longer enough: prer makes our market, even potential, more and more competitive and rich, it is essential not to forget that this always has new rules, and not just regulations. This is why we thought of involving entrepreneurs, oenologists, agronomists, sales managers, and even journalists and communication, packaging and marketing operators to illuminate together, with apparently very different pieces, the new map of the wine of the future”.
There are four tirocinio modules, which can also be purchased individually. The first module is dedicated to the valorisation of pedoclimatic and genetic resources, from the vineyard to the cellar, the second to innovation and development (the viticulture of tomorrow is already here) including the new frontiers of digital and precision viticulture. Quanto a the third module the protagonists become society and the market: between anthropology of consumption and new markets; to arrive at the fourth step, entirely centered the communication of wine with its new languages, storytelling and a broad social networks.
