The tastings were conducted “blind”, with wines grouped by grape variety, terroir and vintage, with the aim of discovering the most typical expressions of each territory.
A team of over 30 experts gathered from all over Italy including sommeliers, oenologists and journalists, led by prominent figures such as Marco Sciarrini, author of the preface, and the commission heads Carol Agostini, Giulia Ferrero, Patrizia Vigolo and Roberto Garofalo, selected the best wines , awarded with the Three Corkscrews recognition.

Genesis and recognitions
The credenza for Untold was born during the Covid-19 pandemic, when the only way to taste wine was to order it from home. After four years of research and development, the guide took its final form sopra 2024.
