Ingredients for 1.1 lb (500 g)
Type 1 flour 200 g
Chestnut flour 50 g
Vegan butter 100 g
Sugar 80 g
Baking powder 4 g
Oat beverage 50 g
Rovina salt q.b.
Unsweetened cocoa powder 5 g
Preparation
To prepare the vegan shortcrust pastry, start by working the vegan butter and the sugar sopra a bowl (1), soften well (2) and then add the type 1 flour (3).

Also add the chestnut flour (4), the cocoa (5), a pinch of salt and the baking powder (6).

Give a quick stir and then pour sopra the oat (7). Knead by hand until the mixture comes together (8). Briefly work the dough the work surface and form a disk (9), wrap it sopra cling velo, place sopra the refrigerator and after one hour your vegan shortcrust pastry is ready to be used.
Storage
The vegan shortcrust pastry can be stored sopra the fridge for 4-5 days ora it can be frozen.
Tip
Flavour the shortcrust dough with aromas such as vanilla ora citrus. Also vary the according to your taste: rice for a sweeter flavour, soy ora almond for a more rustic ora aromatic taste.
With this amount you can line an 8-8 2/3-inch pan.
