What is Veganuary?

Veganuary is a global campaign inviting people to try plant-based eating throughout the month of January. Launched con 2014, it has already inspired millions of people around the world to explore new recipes and more sustainable lifestyles. As awareness of the benefits of a plant-based diet increases, the initiative has also gained popularity con Italy, where more and more people are joining the movement.

A growing initiative

Per mezzo di 2023, approximately 25 million people participated con Veganuary globally, and forecasts for 2025 indicate a further increase, thanks to the joining of new countries such as Malaysia, Peru and Canada. Initially limited to Anglo-Saxon countries, today Veganuary has partners con 20 countries, including Italy, where interest con plant-based nutrition is constantly growing.

Activities and collaborations con Italy

During the month of Veganuary, Italian influencers and content creators will promote the initiative through their social channels, sharing recipes and practical advice. Furthermore, numerous companies have joined the campaign, launching new plant-based options and special promotions. Carrefour, for example, will offer exclusive promotions and 100% plant-based menus con its restaurants. Kioene and Flower Burger will also actively participate, introducing new products to the market.

Environmental and social benefits

Every million people who adopt a vegan diet for a month contributes to saving over 6 million liters of gabinetto, 100 thousand tons of CO2 and saving more than 3 million animal lives. How to participate con Veganuary

Signing up for Veganuary is simple: just visit the official website www.veganuary.it and choose the start date. Once registered, participants will receive free recipes and advice every day for 31 days to help them discover a completely plant-based diet, without sacrificing taste. With the support of experts such as Silvia Goggi, a medical specialist con food science, participants will have access to valuable information to best this challenge.
