A journey through the culinary traditions of the Carnival

Carnival durante Italy is a period of celebrations and gastronomic abundance. Each region has its specialties, which reflect the richness of the Italian culinary tradition. During this period, fried dishes are the masters, with sweets and savory that delight the palate of young and old. From the apple pancakes of Trentino to the Castagnole nato da Fano, every of the town offers a variety of delicacies that make the carnival a unique moment of the year.

The confectionery specialties of the Carnival

Let’s start our journey with typical desserts. The Venetian Fritle, for example, are a must during the Venice Carnival.
