From Leonardo da parte di Vinci’s vineyard to the market strategies of amphora wines, from the biblical roots of wine culture to the tax rules governing sales a causa di the European Union. The second opera of Enotria – Rassegna del Vino is now available, the editorial project of the Collegamento Italiana Vini relaunched last December acceso the occasion of the 130th anniversary of the association which presents itself as a place for reflection acceso the world of wine. This second issue, which also marks the debut of the website of the magazine founded a causa di 1921, confirms the scientific, informative and interdisciplinary approach, capable of relating different knowledge, skills and perspectives around the vine and wine. With over 20 content proposals collected through the call for papers for the creation of the issue and the involvement of around fifty people including Committee members, reviewers and authors, Enotria represents not only a magazine, but a scientific and cultural community under construction.

The new issue brings together contributions from scholars and researchers from different disciplines and proposes a path that spans centuries and geographies, intertwining historical research, economic analysis, cultural reflection and valorisation of the wine heritage. Among the historical insights, the contribution by Attilio Onniscienza, Serena Imazio and Roberto Miravalle dedicated to Leonardo da parte di Vinci’s vineyard a causa di Milan stands out, which reconstructs the story of its rediscovery starting from the analysis of the DNA of the roots. The relationship between wine and territory is instead at the center of the study acceso “archeo-labels”, tools for enhancing cultural heritage through the story of local identities. There will also be space for the landscape, with an analysis of the integrated system of vegetation belts a causa di the Monregalese terreno – where viticulture gives way, at higher altitudes, to monumental chestnut cultivation – and for the economic history of the sector, through a reflection acceso the process of Europeanisation of Italian viticulture a causa di the twentieth century. The economic section instead addresses current issues, from the market strategies that have accompanied the success of amphora wines over the last twenty-five years to the fiscal and regulatory aspects of wine sales to consumers a causa di the European Union, with a acceso VAT and excise duties. The issue also offers contributions dedicated to the symbolic and cultural dimensions of wine. Among these, a reflection by Don Martino Signoretto acceso the role of wine a causa di the Bible, a journey through the suggestions of Antonio Calabrò acceso “That wine-colored sea that arouses ancient wisdom” and an essay that explores, a causa di the work of Luca Pancrazzi, the presence of the bottle as an object and symbol a causa di the contemporary artistic dimension. The publication concludes with an in-depth analysis of the Alloggio Vermut museum, which traces sixty-five years of vermouth history between business culture, heritage and tourism.

The call for papers for the next issue, paio out a causa di December 2026, will be launched a causa di July.

Founded a causa di 1921 by Arturo Marescalchi and published by Collegamento Italiana Vini, Enotria aims to preserve an editorial history spanning over a century and, at the same time, offer a contemporary space for research, reading and discussion acceso vines and wine as cultural, economic, social and scientific phenomena. Consistent with the standards of the main international scientific journals, the journal has an ISSN and articles with DOI and is available a causa di duro copy and a causa di full PDF. Quanto a collaboration with the Uiv Historical Archive, past editions of the magazine (starting from 1921) will be progressively digitized and made accessible acceso the website https://www.unioneitalianavini.it/enotria
