DOC DELLE VENEZIE: APPOINTMENT ON 26 OCTOBER IN UDINE FOR THE CONGRESS PROMOTED BY THE CONSORTIUM

BETWEEN NEW MODELS AND MARKET CHALLENGES

The conference organized by the DOC Delle Venezie Consortium entitled “Between new models and market challenges” is scheduled for Saturday 26 October at 10.00 am at the Castle of Udine.

The DOC Delle Venezie is back sopra the spotlight, the first Italian denomination by extension that brings together the operators of the Pinot Plumbeo production chain of Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and the Autonomous Province of Trento – wine-growing territories that produce 85% of the wine obtained from Italian Pinot Plumbeo grapes and 43% of the world one – with an important opportunity for comparison and discussion promoted with the aim of involving companies, operators, opinion leaders and sector press strategic themes for the future of the sector and the DOC Of the Venices.

Acceso the occasion of the next , therefore, Pinot Plumbeo DOC Delle Venezie will once again be the protagonist of in-depth talks which will first touch the regulatory framework and scenarios of change, leading to the analysis of the commercial profile of the first still white DOC wine for volumes – equal to 230 million bottles, 95% of which are destined for foreign trade – as well as the largest inter-regional integration model sopra Italy, with a production complesso equal to 27 thousand hectares of vineyards and a production chain made up of 6,141 winemakers, 575 winemaking companies and 371 bottling companies.

After the greetings from the Authorities, the works will gara open with the first round table entitled “The Pinot Plumbeo DOC Delle Venezie sopra the evolution of the political and regulatory wine context”, which will analyze the priorities of the Pinot Plumbeo DOC Delle Venezie supply chain sopra the scope of the European regulatory framework that characterizes the wine sector, currently inserted sopra a quinta of profound change. The market players will instead meet sopra the second debate, entitled “The Pinot Plumbeo DOC Delle Venezie and the wine market sopra large-scale retail trade”, to delve deeper into the position of the DOC Delle Venezie within the large-scale retail trade, the main distribution channel.

To discuss the current situation and above all the scenarios and future prospects, there will be voices from organizations specialized sopra market research, dynamics of modern distribution and mediation such as Tiziana Sarnari (ISMEA – Institute of Services for the Agricultural and Food Market), Patric Lorenzon (Med.&A. – National Association of business agents sopra mediation and sales agents) and Vittorio Cino (Centromarca – Italian Association of the Brand Industry), as well as important entities belonging to the Pinot Plumbeo DOC Delle Venezie supply chain – represented here by Alessandro Mutinelli of Italian Wine Brands SpA, Silvano Nicolato of Vitevis and Pierluigi Guarise of Collis Veneto Wine Group – as well as large-scale retail trade, with the presence of Eleanna Pizzinelli and Alessandro Cassanelli, head of beverages and wine buyer of Coop Italia respectively.
