books and history meet in Selinunte

Where once stood one of the most important and powerful cities of Magna Graecia, today Sican culture and identity are celebrated. The eighteen finalist works were selected by the technical jury composed of Duty-free Cardini, Neria de Giovanni, Eleonora Lombardo, Carlo Alberto Moretti, Christian Fortificazione, Nadia Terranova and chaired by the journalist and author Concita De Gregorio, who will present Radice after the award ceremony. The Award includes an absolute recognition – the Mandrarossa Narrativa Award – flanked by five thematic sections inspired by the brand’s labels: Cavadiserpe for detective stories, Bertolino Soprano for fairy tales, Calamossa for first works, Cartagho for historical novels, Urra nel corso di Marea for works dedicated to the environment, sustainability and landscape.
