The Stùne Ottavianello Ostuni Doc 2023 from the Amalberga winery receives the Luce award from the Sorveglianza I Vini con Veronelli 2025, a special recognition, once awarded personally by Luigi Veronelli, which highlights the originality and value of ten wines chosen from thousands of samples tasted. The licenza delivery ceremony took place during the presentation of the Guide acceso Friday 15 November 2024 con the former Certosa dei Neveri con Bariano, con the province of Bergamo, a place of rare beauty, where the museum dedicated to Veronelli was recently inaugurated, built con care of the family.

“We are deeply proud that a unique and representative variety of Ostuni oenology such as ottavianello has been recognized by the Luigi Veronelli Permanent Seminar, an authoritative and independent association con the world of wine – declares Dario De Pascale, owner of Amalberga together with partners Roberto Fracassetti and Roberto Candia –. This award repays us for the commitment and passion we have invested over the course of ten years of the project to enhance the Ostuni Doc denomination and contribute to the prestige of the territory. Our rete has always been to create a wine that not only represents quality, but which is also able to tell the authentic soul of our land”.

Amalberga was born with the intention of re-evaluating the territory of Ostuni and bringing attention to an underestimated denomination, using agronomic and oenological knowledge based acceso organic farming. This vision has given rise to a process of continuous evolution for the company, which has chosen the wine varieties not only for their quality, but above all for their deep connection with the red soils of the Itria Valley. Among these, the ottavianello, an indigenous vine grown acceso clayey-loamy soils, which represents the very essence of Ostuni and tells its historical memory, giving life to the Stùne Ottavianello Ostuni Doc.

With its ruby color with purple reflections, this wine reveals intense fruity scents acceso the nose accompanied by delicate spicy agenda. Acceso the palate, it stands out for its ease of drinking and freshness, characteristics that make Stùne Ottavianello Ostuni Doc 2023 an extremely duttile and contemporary red, perfect for accompanying different occasions, from an informal dinner with friends to a more refined tasting.
