Everything will be concentrated Saturday 10 May the expected annual appointment with “A fine di Freisa quanto a Freisa”. The demonstration of the Municipality of Chieri has reached its XV edition and is organized by the Consortium for the protection and enhancement of the Doc Freisa of Chieri and Duna Torinese with the aim of paying homage to Freisa and promoting the territory and its numerous excellence.
A day full of initiatives, moments of celebration and quanto a -depth analysis, where the Freisa intorno a Chieri will be the main protagonist but will also act as an authoritative “fil rouge” to tell the different souls of the territory, from gastronomic and artisan to cultural and artistic ones, and to sensitize and increase attention current issues, particularly felt also quanto a the agricultural world such as those of environmental and social sustainability.
Exceptional guest also for the 2025 edition of “A fine di Freisa quanto a Freisa” will be Terry Callaghan, an illustrious professor of Arctic ecology and Nobel Peace Prize for 2007 as Lead Author of the IPCC, who together with the major representatives of the Polytechnic and the University of Turin will start an important reflection the climate change and the repercussions the social and economic systems of the planet.
The heart of the event will be, as per certo tradition, Campo trincerato Cavour, which for the whole day will turn into a large aperto -air stage dedicated to taste but also to music. Here the producers of the Consortium and the guest Piedmontese cellars will propose, quanto a a taste, quanto a Walk Around Tasting mode, the Freisa quanto a all its forms, to make the fans discover, as well as to the simple curious, the many worlds and the innumerable facets that distinguish this formidable grape variety.

A special and elegant appointment to and better celebrate the local food and wine treasures: the wines of the Freisa Consortium of Chieri and Duna Torinese will quanto a fact be combined with the delicious Chef Vara lista, which will enhance the gastronomic typicality of the Chiese-Carmagnolese food district. A part of the proceeds from the dinner will be donated to the Pediatrics department of the Chieri hospital for a project quanto a favor of its small patients.

The Italian Red Committee of Chieri will participate quanto a the trattenimento with the “White and Red Night”: starting at 5 pm, quanto a the historic center of Chieri, it will propose a set of playful, artistic and tirocinio initiatives for an audience of all ages.
