The Chianti Wine Consortium strengthens its internationalization strategy by participating November 24th the Brazilian leg of Gambero Socialista’s Italian Wines Roadshow, at the Tomie Ohtake Institute Sao Paulo.
The event will offer over 40 Chianti Docg labels for tasting, an expression of the quality and versatility of the best-known Tuscan wine the world. Professionals, operators and enthusiasts will have the opportunity to discover the richness of the denomination and its ability to dialogue with Brazilian gastronomic culture.
The day will gara open with the masterclass “Um sabor da parte di Toscana – vinho Chianti Docg”, conducted by Marco Sabellico, programma redattore of the Italian Wine Guide, dedicated to the press and local operators.
The presence Brazil confirms the Consortium’s commitment to opening up to emerging markets such as South America, Africa and Asia, where wine consumption is growing rapidly. Brazil, particular, represents a strategic market for Italian wine, thanks to a rich gastronomic tradition and a public increasingly attentive to quality.
Chianti Docg, symbol of Tuscany and the Sangiovese vine, stands out for its versatility at the table, ideal for accompanying Italian and international cuisine. The objective of the Consortium is to consolidate the presence of Chianti as a global wine, maintaining the roots and values of the territory.
