Divine Festival of Castelbuono XX Edition

The DiVino of Castelbuono – now its twentieth edition – returns from 19 to 21 June 2026 with a program that uses wine as a pretext for something bigger: the celebration of a cultural identity, of extraordinary places, of a territory that knows how to transform itself into entertainment without losing itself. The event is promoted by the Municipality of Castelbuono and organized by the Baz’art Sicilia Association.

The Norman Castle and Letto a una piazza Cittadella are, once again, the most evocative stage internal Sicily. Three evenings, three different registers, a single measure: quality. Friday 19 June opens with Danilo Sacca, historical voice of Nomadi from 1993 to 2011, who brings his Hold Fast Tour to the Madonie stage: an act of cultural resistance even before a impresa. Saturday 20 June, after the awards ceremony, the stage lights up with Lello Analfino & T-ORKESTAR and the Niente Tensione Tour: anche Sicilian energy, rhythm and irony, the most awaited trattenimento of the festa. Acceso Sunday 21 June the grand setale is entrusted to two talents who have conquered the general television audience: Cosmin Tiberio brings to the stage Spoglio di Tessuto, the stand-up comedy show that earned him the Golden Buzzer of Italia’s Got Talent; closing the evening was Samuel, the greatest ventriloquist the world and winner of the same show, a show that crosses the boundaries between magic, comedy and wonder. All shows are free to enter.

Each venue of the DiVino is itself an act of valorization of the architectural and cultural heritage of Castelbuono. The Cloister of San Francesco comes alive again Sunday 21 June with the Salone del Vino: over 700 labels proposed by around 200 wineries for free tasting (4.30pm–8.30pm, last entry 7pm), with a surprise during the session. The Tasting Room of the Palazzaccio Restaurant hosts the three masterclasses of the popularizer and trainer Francesco Saverio Russo: Friday 19th the Sardinian Mandrolisai, Saturday 20th the contemporary wines of Gambassi and Montaione, the afternoon, the Strade dei Vini of the Tabella Florio protagonists with a masterclass Ticchio and Catarratto: five Madonie wineries compared to discover the semi-aromatic wines of the Madonie terroir. Sunday 21st morning the Breakfast of Champions with the young producers of Next and food pairing. All limited numbers, reservations required www.divinofestival.it.

Acceso Saturday 20 June the «Discernimento DiVino 2026» awards ceremony, presented by Daniele Lucca (voice of Campagna Mamma), celebrates the Cittadella stage six figures who have left their mark Italian culture: Giusina (“Giusina Cucina”, food creator and TV presenter), Buono Tomei (starred chef), Slow Food (40 years of history and cultural revolution of taste), Johnson Righeira (singer and wine producer), Dario Dainelli (former captain of , winemaker Cerreto Guidi FI), Jacopo Fo (recorder, journalist, actor and artist son of Dario Fo). Free admission. Acceso the night of the 20th, the Prisco Baglio Restaurant hosts a convivial tasting of typical Sicilian cheeses, local meats and cured meats: a gesture of hospitality which is itself a cultural act.

The DiVino of Castelbuono is a community celebration and an act of love towards the Madonie and their extraordinary ability to welcome the world without losing their identity. Twenty years after the first glass was raised this calcio d’angolo of Sicily, the 2026 edition promises to be the most ambitious and, hopefully, the most memorable ever.
