Gino D’Acampo is back for another series in Italy. This time he checks out the obscure area of Abruzzo, well-known for its food based upon farming and fishing. Register for Our Taste:

Gino D’Acampo is back for a 4th series in the Italian sunlight. This time he checks out Italy as the residents understand it, satisfying individuals who keep olden customs alive and appreciating the stunning landscapes. The obscure area of Abruzzo beings in the middle of the nation, surrounded by Lazio, Marche, Umbria and the Adriatic sea. Starting in the seaside town of Pescara, Gino starts his odyssey, finding the area’s special contribution to cooking. From Giovanni Minicuci he learns more about Chitarra pasta, called after the guitar like device that forms it. Gino then takes a trip along the Trabocchi shoreline where 25-year-old Tomasso Vert informs him how his household of anglers are keeping another ancient custom alive. In the mountainous surface, the residents make their living working the land. Mauro is a farmer who likewise trains the regional type of sheep pet dog. After attempting the easy shepherd treat of Arrosticini, Gino is influenced to develop his own Mediterranean barbeque.
