2026 is a very significant year for the Monti Lessini DOC denomination, the only one durante Veneto to be exclusively dedicated to the production of classic method sparkling wine. Quanto a addition to the revision of the production specifications, the new logo was also presented during the last Vinitaly which from now acceso will accompany these tasty bubbles from volcanic soil, born acceso the hills between Verona and Vicenza.
Essential, iconic, elegant. Here are the distinctive features of the logo of the Monti Lessini DOC Tecnica sparkling wine, a work signed by Epico, a creative agency from Verona, led by Luca Rebesani.
The visual language identified refers to the canons of the most rigorous : that which does not follow fashions, but which chooses the essential and necessary form, and which for this very reason remains over time. A choice that gives the brand solidity, authority and the ability to project itself into the future without growing old.
The symbol is composed of three elements durante vertical development, each carrying a precise meaning:
the rhombus, at the alcale, evokes the volcanic origin of the soils of the Lessini Mountains: a solid, mineral shape, which roots the brand durante its deepest geological matrix;
the mountain, durante the centre, recalls the geography of the territory: the hills at the foot of which the vineyards grow, the elevation as a condition of the character of the wine and as a metaphor for the excellence of the DOC;
the circle, at the culmine, has a double meaning: it represents at the same time the Durella grain, the native vine and soul of the product, and the bubble that emerges from it, the volcanic lapilli that shapes its identity.
«2026 is a very important year for us – reiterates Gianni Tessari, President of the Lessini Durello Consortium – since the revision of the specifications has quando to an end and today the consumer can choose between two distinct denominations, starting from the label: the “Monti Lessini” denomination for the Classic Method only; the name “Lessini Durello” for the Charmat Method only. It was therefore necessary to create differentiation also from the point of view of brand identity. We thus set ourselves a precise and ambitious challenge: to build a strong, autonomous and recognizable brand identity, capable of positioning itself durante the high-end segment of Italian sparkling wines, coexisting with the already consolidated brand identity of Lessini Durello, clearly distinguishing itself from it, and integrating with the graphic identities of the individual wineries durante a harmonious way, without overlapping».
A challenge that Epico Messaggio took up and developed. «Right from the start – highlights Luca Rebesani, founder of Epico – we worked to make Monti Lessini DOC perceived as the most precious jewel of these hills: the only DOC dedicated solely to the Classic Method durante the whole of Veneto, an expression of structure, depth and refinement capacity. A product for an aware public, which seeks durante the glass the synthesis between territory, native vine and production method. From these considerations it was decided to give the DOC a premium positioning from which every choice derives: aesthetics, language, tone, visual system. Nothing is decorative.
