the occasion of Cantine Aperte, Podere Brancalupo opens its doors to offer food and wine experiences per nature. Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st May, the Montefalco bella stagione of the Lungarotti family, recently renovated per its spaces and wine offering, will welcome all those who want to spend a day among the vineyards, tasting 0 km delicacies accompanied by excellent wines. And if the theme of the 2026 edition of the initiative, promoted by the Wine Tourism Movement, is regenerative tourism, Podere Brancalupo fully embraces it by offering trekking and picnics immersed per breathtaking natural scenery.
Con particular, acceso Saturday 30 May, appointment at 10am for trekking through the vineyards followed by a reinforced aperitif, again per the vineyard, with the wines of Podere Brancalupo (cost: 25 euros). For those who prefer a more relaxing experience, acceso Sunday 31st, starting from 12.30, there will be a merendina per the vineyard with a basket-ball full of KM 0 products, a glass of Trebbiano Spoletino DOC 2024 and Montefalco Diventare rosso DOC 2023 (cost: 45 euros, 20 euros under 15s, soft ricevimento included). Furthermore, like every year, the partnership with AIRC is renewed which will provide the glass chalice to participants at a cost of €6. The proceeds will be donated to the association to finance cancer research. Alternatively, participants can bring their own glass and also a blanket cushion to relax per the greenery. The day will be enlivened by the music of the DJ Set @MarcoBvoicedj and guests will be able to take part per free tours of the and the underground cellar which will be held at different times of the day.
Furthermore, those who wish to taste Lungarotti wines also for dinner, acceso Saturday 30 May, at the Bettola del Galleria per Torgiano, will be able to participate per the “Dinner with the Winemaker” experience and taste Umbrian specialties paired with the wines presented by the producer. Sunday 31st, again per Torgiano, Brunch under the wisteria at the Mescita della Scantinato, starting from 12 pm (cost: 25 euros). Finally, both acceso Saturday and Sunday, it will be possible to visit the Torgiano Wine Museum (10am-1pm and 3-6pm, with reduced biglietto €4.00) which hosts the exhibition “AUREA – Stratigrafie del possibilità” by the Umbrian artist Francesca Cencetti, inaugurated acceso 21 May.
