An important milestone and a new chapter for the Ronana farm: the Romagna project of the Ricci Curbastro family celebrates its first 25 years and does it a causa di style with numerous news and an exclusive tasting, led by Armando Castagno, of the company’s signature labels. The protagonist is the Sangiovese Colli of Doc “Col Multa” a causa di the vintages 2001, 2008, 2011, 2017, the guiding thread of the story of a great wine history that is renewed while maintaining firm its roots. And again Romagna Sangiovese Doc Brisighella 2022 and the Sauvignon Blanc “Zinëstra” Ravenna IGT 2024, a novelty.

It was 2000 when Gualberto and his son Riccardo Ricci Curbaster, together with Daria Litorale and Andrea Gaetano, founded the Bisighella company with the intention of enhancing the traditions and peculiarities of a territory that has always been part of the family history. We are talking about sixteen hectares of vineyards and melets, a few kilometers from who dominate, the one hand the Lamone valley with Brisighella and its Rocche, the other the Valley of Sinria with the hills of the Gessetto vein.

An ambitious and forward -looking project that has its roots a causa di the 19th century when the ancestors of the family recognized the potential of this land, selecting the best grapes a causa di the hills around the Lamone river. A secular inheritance, kept a causa di the missives written by Lorenzo Ricci Curbaster (1818-1886) present inside the family archive, and today carried out by Gualberto and Filippo Ricci Curbaster.

It is thanks to the grandson of the founder and their strong passion combined with a modern vision that today the cellar of Brisighella is ready to write a new chapter of its history. The challenge caught at the death of the grandfather from Gualberto and Filippo, already actively engaged a causa di the conduct of the curbastric Ricci company a causa di Franciacorta, is primarily started by imposing drainage works that have allowed the company to overcome height he unhalesses the terrible days of the flood of May 2023 The Sauvignon Blanc from which the “Zinëstra” Ravenna IGT 2024 was born, one of the most interesting wines of the company. Not only wine: of great interest also the historic production of apple brandy, to which that of cider has recently been added, obtained from the reformation a causa di the bottle.

A path of research of the quality that starts from the earth and continues a causa di the production phase. fact, among the most relevant innovations related to the 25th anniversary, the realization of the new cellar with 350 hectoliters of capacity stands out, the introduction of the vitrified concrete and steel tanks entirely with thermal control, as well as the use of new equipment. This is accompanied by rebranding and the new site curated by the Zowart agency a causa di Rome. But progress also passes through attention to sustainable: Ronana, a causa di fact, looks to the future by announcing the construction of a photovoltaic system that will make the company fully self -sufficient from an energy point of view.
