the occasion of Vinitaly 2026, Cavazza (Foyer 4 – Stand D1) presents a new stile phase of the Cicogna line, dedicated to the red wines of the Berici Hills, which involves both the visual identity and the stylistic profile of the range.
Founded quanto a 1928 and today led by the third and fourth generation of the family, Cavazza represents one of the historical realities of the Venetian wine scene, with a consolidated presence between the Gambellara and Colli Berici denominations. The company’s activity is spread over several estates distributed among the suitable areas of the Vicenza ambiente, with a vineyard heritage that includes both native vines and international varieties, interpreted according to the specific soil and climate conditions.
The Cicogna line is dedicated to the production of structured red wines from the Berici Hills, an ambiente characterized by calcareous-clayey soils and climatic conditions favorable to slow and complete maturation. The range mainly includes interpretations of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, vines which quanto a this ambiente find ideal conditions to express balance between concentration, aromatic component and stability over time.
The winemaking project is based acceso agronomic management aimed at limiting yields and selecting the most suitable plots, with vinification aimed at preserving aromatic precision and integrity of the fruit. The aging quanto a wood is calibrated according to the vintage and the structure of the wine, with the aim of guaranteeing integration and complexity without superstructures.
The restyling of the labels comes from a review of the company’s historical archive and recovers original graphic elements, reworked according to criteria of greater readability and coherence. The figure of the stork, the distinctive symbol of the line, returns to the center within a more essential visual system, quanto a line with the contemporary codes of the sector and with the aim of strengthening the recognisability of the range acceso the markets.
The new vintages of the Cicogna line will be presented at Vinitaly, together with the other company references representing the two main production territories. White wines from Garganega grapes from the Gambellara ambiente will also be available for tasting, which complete the company’s production profile and highlight its continuity between tradition and territorial specialization.
Presence at the fair will offer operators and the press the opportunity to delve deeper into the work carried out acceso the Berici Hills and to directly evaluate the evolution of the Cicogna line also quanto a relation to the most recent vintages.
