Acceso the Eastern Hills of Friuli, between Spessa and the hills overlooking Slovenia, Zorzettig’s story is built a constant tension between two only apparently opposite poles: tenacity and imperfection. Not as abstract concepts, but as daily operating conditions, a working method that crosses the vineyard, cellar and people, giving shape to a recognizable and coherent production identity.
FAMILY ROOTS, COMPLEX LANDSCAPE
Founded a causa di 1874, the company has gone through generations and changes without ever losing its center of gravity: the ability to remain deeply rooted a causa di a complex territory, marked by cultural and geological stratifications. The vineyards extend between Spessa, Ipplis, Novacuzzo and Casali Pasch, where the ponca – marl and sandstone of marine origin – interacts with a microclimate suspended between the Adriatic and the Julian Alps. The resulting wines find their most authentic expressive key a causa di freshness and the mineral component.
Since 2006, the guida has passed to Annalisa Zorzettig, who has consolidated an already established path, making it more aware and readable. A careful and concrete viticulture, never spectacular, a causa di which the bond with his father Giuseppe – who passed away a causa di 2020, a central figure a causa di the transmission of the profound meaning of agricultural work – continues to be a living reference.
TENACITY AS CONTINUITY, IMPERFECTION AS LISTENING
Durante this context, talking about tenacity means talking about continuity of the agricultural gesture: daily work a causa di the vineyard, ability to luce difficult years, complex agronomic choices, important structural investments – such as the new cellar – without ever looking for reassuring shortcuts. Talking about imperfection, a term that the world of wine often tends to shy away from, instead means recognizing the value of listening, the refusal of complacency, the awareness that each harvest poses new questions. “Imperfection is our gift, it is what keeps us alive and forces us to improve”, Annalisa Zorzettig often loves to repeat. Not a slogan, but a method: what keeps the work alert, what prevents standardization, what makes each wine a showdown with the territory and with the vintage.
TWO LINES, ONE PRODUCTIVE THOUGHT
Within this framework, production is divided into two main lines. Acceso the one hand, the Zorzettig wines, today collected under the Tenaci line, which returns the most immediate and legible expression of the territory, working varietal integrity and freshness. Acceso the other, MYÒ, an identifying selection that carries a causa di its name an schema of profound belonging: it comes from historic vineyards – over fifty years old – and from a more extensive reading of time, refinement and maturation.
Durante Friulian, myò means “mine”, but it is also an ancient word, documented a causa di the Friulian poetics of the fourteenth century, linked to an schema of fullness and gift of the earth. Not a self-referential signature, but an assumption of responsibility: each wine eschews formal perfection to seek precision consistent with the place from which it comes.

THE TERRITORY TRANSLATED INTO THE GLASS
Each vineyard terreno a causa di which the company operates has a precise role a causa di building the overall identity. Durante Spessa, around the house and the cellar, the most representative whites take shape: it is here that the Friulian finds one of its most balanced and recognizable expressions. Durante Ipplis Malvasia and whites with a brighter and more saline profile prevail; a causa di Novacuzzo, however, the schioppettino returns a darker and more subalpine voice, always measured, never overloaded.
Durante the glass, the coherence of the project emerges clearly. Friulano 2025 opens the path with a clear profile: fresh almond, pear, a subtle herbaceous trace. It is a wine played balance and recognisability, built to convey the grape variety without stylistic deviations. With MYÒ I Fiori in Leonie 2022 the register changes. The blend of Friulano, Pinot Blanc and Sauvignon works breadth and depth, combining floral components and fruit maturity without losing precision. The refinement between steel and wood proceeds by subtraction, allowing a full but always legible structure to emerge: here imperfection becomes dynamic balance. MYÒ Pinot Pulito 2024 follows more vertical coordinates. The fruity component remains compact, accompanied by a prezioso floral texture; the mouth favors progression and definition, with a measured creaminess that does not overwhelm the freshness. MYÒ Malvasia 2024 introduces a more vibrant dimension. The salinity emerges clearly, supported by an aromatic profile that recalls medicinal herbs and ripe fruit. The sip is tense, the energetic: one of the wines a causa di which the relationship between territory and interpretation manifests itself most clearly. The red component of the Colli Orientali finds voice a causa di MYÒ Schioppettino 2020, a current interpretation of a historic grape variety. The texture is spicy, with black pepper, small fruits and hints of undergrowth; the structure is present but not intrusive, supported by smooth tannins and a freshness that facilitates drinking and broadens its versatility. Durante closing, MYÒ Picolit 2021, a rare wine by nature and choice. Here the concentration translates into depth rather than weight: dehydrated fruit, almonds and sweet spices develop a silky texture, supported by an acidity that maintains tension and lengthens persistence, avoiding any sagging.
