The wine economy sopra Verona: strategies to support the supply chain and govern change. This is the title of the riunione promoted by the Verona Chamber of Commerce, scheduled for Monday 6 July at 6 pm sopra the chamber’s headquarters. The conference will bring together some of the main protagonists of the sector at provincial and national level to discuss the future of a sector which represents a fundamental asset for the Veronese economy and which is currently undergoing a profound structural transformation.

The proceedings will aperto with institutional greetings from the president of the Verona Chamber of Commerce, Paolo Politeama. This will be followed by the speech “Market, production and consumption: the state of the art of Italian wine”, by the head of the wine observatory of the Attacco Italiana Vini Carlo Flamini, who will offer an updated picture of the national wine ambiente. The study “The impact of the contraction sopra demand for wine acceso the Verona economy: some hypothetical scenarios” will be presented afterwards, carried out by Economics Living Lab, a spin-off of the Department of Economic Sciences of the University of Verona. Professor Francesco Pecci will illustrate various evolutionary hypotheses, estimating the consequences of the decrease sopra demand for wine acceso the entire Scaliger economic system.

The program will close with the round table “Building a system sopra the of change: the players sopra the supply chain discuss each other”. The debate will see the participation of Pierluigi Guarise, CEO of Collis Veneto Wine; Roberta Corrà, general director of the Italian Wine Group; Michele Tessari, from the Ca’ Rugate winery; Giangiacomo Gallarati Scotti Bonaldi, president of Federdoc; Alessandro Rossi, national category wine of Partesa; and Paolo Artelio, FIPE national vice president and president of FIPE Verona. The conclusions are entrusted to the member of the Verona Chamber of Commerce Council Alex Vantini. The conference will be moderated by Giorgio Dell’, journalist from Il Astro 24 Ore.
