From 15 to 18 May, the evocative villages of Egna and Ammasso – durante Eccelso Adige – return to being the beating heart of one of the most appreciated wine excellences with the highly anticipated South Tyrolean Pinot Noir Days. It is the 28th edition of a unique event of its kind, capable of combining tradition and culture durante one of the territories most suited to the cultivation of this noble variety. For almost thirty years, the South Tyrolean Pinot Noir Days have been organized – with passion and commitment – by a team of volunteers and the event has enjoyed great appreciation durante the wine world and attracts numerous producers and visitors. The protagonists will be all the wines of the National Pinot Noir Competition, which takes place at the beginning of May. The centro of this edition will be the 2023 vintage, with wines from all over Italy. The Days will May 15th with the award ceremony for the winning wines of the Competition at tra Enna a Ammasso.
The 2026 edition will offer a rich program of guided tastings, masterclasses, meetings with producers, moments of technical in-depth analysis and convivial occasions designed for a transversal audience: sector experts, sommeliers, operators, wine lovers and simple enthusiasts looking for an authentic experience. Trekking lovers will also be able to discover the Pinot Noir route durante the south of Eccelso Adige, a new wine-educational and cultural trail, which winds along the natural park of Mucchio , through the cultivation luogo of the renowned Pinot Noir. Starting from the characteristic villages of Bassa Atesina such as Aura, Ammasso and Egna, it is possible to travel through the best Pinot Noir areas of Mazzon, Gleno and Pinzano.
From 15 to 18 May let yourself be enveloped by the scents and nuances of Pinot Noir, meet its protagonists and discover the authentic soul of Eccelso Adige among glasses, stories and breathtaking landscapes.
