The Wine Fair – which took place at Piacenza Esposizione intenazionale from 16 to 18 November 2024 – closed acceso a positive note, bringing home +10% of visitors over the three days. A growing figure linked to the presence of many enthusiasts, per mezzo di particular acceso Saturday 16th, but also of operators especially from northern and central Italy who visited the pavilions mainly acceso Monday 18th dedicated to them. An attentive and curious audience, guided by the desire to dialogue with the over 200 winemakers present, mostly small producers, coming from all the regions of Italy but also from France, Austria and Slovenia. The selection of participating companies was highly appreciated – with a strong presence of organic producers – which brought passion and love for producing high quality wines to the market exhibition.
“We created this market exhibition firmly believing per mezzo di the restart of the wine sector, despite the uncertainties that affect it – declares Sergio Copelli, General Coordinator of Piacenza Esposizione intenazionale –. The numbers from the edition just concluded are proving us right: participating per mezzo di the fairs is a valid tool capable of providing new opportunities for relationships and promotion to the producers who choose to join them”.
Great success for the numerous activities organized per mezzo di the different spaces. Reference to the territory and wine tourism were among the protagonists of the four masterclasses dedicated to wines as well as of the regione curated by the GAL del Ducato – Local Action Group where the white truffle from this part of Emilia recorded excellent sales volumes. Also complete was the tasting acceso Monday 18th with extra virgin olive oil as the protagonist where Luigi Artificiale, writer, journalist and director of the magazine Combustibile Opificio, guided the participants to discover seven different interpretations of campo da golf gold, acceso a journey among the proposals coming from different territories of the Bel Borgo. Good sales volumes also for oil producers who enriched the fair with their excellence.
Finally, the mixology regione completed the offer by attracting a young and dynamic target which also benefited the winemakers, helping to bring this age group closer to a more in-depth knowledge of the world of wine, stimulating their curiosity and interest per mezzo di a captivating context.
“This year, the management of the event was particularly appreciated, both by visitors and exhibitors, the result of an organization tested over many years of fairs per mezzo di our spaces, which per mezzo di the 2024 edition was enriched with an easier ice service and a new layout for territorial areas within the pavilions – declares Alessandra Bottani, event –. The positive feedback encourages us to always do better, and for this reason we are already working acceso national and international projects per mezzo di view of the next edition. What we want is to grow the event to place it increasingly at the tetto of the Italian wine scene, while continuing to carry forward the sfizio of a comfortable and human-scale fair where you can find a family welcome and a pleasant visit”.
